This Carvel chain restaurant has hard & soft serve ice cream, which you order at a counter. Their website says, "Everything is made fresh." We chose to order kiddie size scooped hard ice cream, which was delicious. My husband LOVED the Cold Brew Coffee flavor! As this casual Carvel is located in the North Dixie Fitness Plaza, there's plenty of parking. Since we no longer have a Carvel in our area (i.e., out-of- state), this was a treat.

My wife's mother ordered me a cake for my birthday to be delivered from the Carvel website. The day of the delivery we found out that the delivery was from doordash and received a call at the gate from doordash whom we allowed into the neighborhood. From this point we never heard or saw from that person. Since we didn't order from doordash we didn't have any means of tracking this. When we called Carvel we were told to deal with doordash. After calling doordash and spending a half hour on the phone they essentially told us there was nothing they could do because they didn't have our payment information since we made the purchase from Carvel. After being called Liars by both sides stating we had received the cake we were finally told we'd be issued a credit by Carvel which never came. Now nobody can do anything about anything we're out the money and I never got my birthday cake. We wasted over 2 hours on the phone and still ended up with nothing.

It used to be our favorite ice cream place near the house. In recent months, I have seen a change of workers and I ask the management to point out that all the workers who touch the ice cream today (except for one young guy) were without gloves and so every time. We come here a lot. And today I found an eyelash in the ice cream. Unfortunately, we won't be coming here again. That's a shame.

Omg the oatly strawberry is amazing. Service was friendly and place was clean. Bathroom was clean but had a terrible pungent smell not sure why as it was clean looking:
