Chili Crab serves authentic Chinese cuisine and is renowned for its fresh crabs. We are allergic to shellfish, but we're in the mood for delicious, authentic Chinese food. We started with vegetable spring rolls and vegetable Gyozas. The spring rolls were delicious, hot and crispy. Since my date is vegan, Chili Crab has a wide variety of vegan dishes on the menu. Our server, Vivian, was super helpful. Per her recommendations, we ordered the Shanghai noodle stir-fried with vegetables, tofu stir-fried with vegetables in brown sauce, and pea tips stir-fried with garlic. Everything was delicious. We will be back to try the dim sum.
As always, everything is so delicious and the chef very accommodating with our special requests. Love this place!
Wait stage was very friendly, food was delicious! We ordered a whole Peking duck which was more than enough for 4 people with rice & veggies. Pork fried rice didn't really have pork, it was mostly fat. Only complaint. No room for desert!
The food was delicious and of high quality. Not your average Chinese restaurant. I had lobster fried rice and soft shell crab entree. All 4 of us shared delicious appetizers. Our server was very attentive and helped us pick dishes. Noise level was low. All together a great choice We've been there before and always see Asians eating there, a sign of good Chinese food.
A very enjoyable experience which was completely unexpected. Excellent Hot & Sour soup and delicious fried rice. The Peking Duck was prepared very well. Will definitely return to this hometown favorite with incredibly friendly service. You won't go wrong here.
Tonight the food and service were excellent. We always enjoy Chili Crab but tonight was the best.
We always enjoy dining here. I think the menu might be a bit different since our last visit but we focus on one dish...the Peking duck, which is so delicious. We shared pork bao to start. Then the Peking duck and an order of pork fried rice tha t was very very large. It is preferable to have more people so you can enjoy more tastes. The wine list is small but we found a nice white to wash down our food. And while the tables are not on top of each other, this visit and others we have been close enough to converse with another couple which of course makes it a bit more fun.
Chili Crab was a wonderful experience. The service couldn't have been better. It was a Saturday night and the kitchen was backed up by the server was constantly stopping by to update us. We had the calamari appetizer which was delicious but different than any we have had. The Peking Duck was one of the best we have had. Highly recommend ordering it. We had the boc choy with garlic. Very good but was better at the bottom where it sat in the sauce. We come to the area and stay for 5 weeks every year. Chili Crab is a definite for next year.
I lived in China and this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. The spicy cucumber is the best I've had since Beijing. The dumplings are terrific. They really know how to cook here. As good or better than any Chinese restaurant I went to in New York when I lived there.
I was concerned after reading the reviews. However, we showed up on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. Those who showed up after the “first seating” or without a reservation did wait. Service was good and attentive. Food came out as expected and to everyone's delight, was fantastic. We all went for spicier dishes and they were delicious. Definitely on the pricey side for the signature crab but, again, delicious. We'd go back and would recommend making an earlier reservation.

Chile Crab has a great ambience where the food and service is par excellence. Alan is the owner of this wonderful restaurant and we know everyone will savor the taste of his food choices. Enjoy!
Great service and authentic Cantonese BBQ. We had Dim sum and recommend it. We will definitely be back. Kid friendly. A+
Food was all delicious and wonderfully prepared. It would be nice if there was a little more explanation in the menu about the wide variety of preparations and sauces that are available . Everything was shareable, and I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious items .
This is one of the very best Asian restaurants anywhere . Great Peking duck !! Anything u order will be fresh and yummy
This restaurant was disappointing. The Holiday menu was extremely expensive. I expected the prices to be high just because they were open on Christmas Day, but not that high. The portions we tiny. The chicken fried rice was the only thing that was a good portion. We ordered wonton soup for $12. It wasn't even a full cup. If you are going here and willing to spend $300 you could definitely get a good meal. We were not expecting to spend that. They didn't have any of the traditional dishes that my daughters would have eaten. The parking was great. There were plenty of employees to accommodate the restaurant. It just wasn't what my family was expecting. We won't be going back.
