The service was outstanding! I original booked for a inside table and when I got there my party decided they would rather sit outside, the staff there were accommodating and found a table outside for us, the food was delicious as always and the prices are very reasonable. I will continue to eat at the City Fish Market.
Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The fresh bread was delicious . We thoroughly enjoyed our meals- trout almandine , crab cake, seafood newburg, salmon. Everything was fresh and delicious!
I would recommend it to visit at least once. The food did not impressed me, the service was good but the food took too much time to get in the table.
Server Wadley was wonderful. Liked his honest opinions. Whole fried fish was fresh huge and delicious. Light despite being fried. Shrimp were also quite yummy. Drinks were strong. Only issue I had was that on the website there was no mention that happy hour was only in the bar area. I was there too early for opening so I went shopping till they opened but by the time I came back the bar area was full. If I had know it was not the whole restaurant for happy hour I would have waited for the opening time. Manager did not accommodate us and my 82 year old mother cannot sit at a stool at the bar.
On a Friday night it was empty. I ordered trout almandine and got an unknown fish that was greasy and tasteless.
Restaurant was not busy when we were there. Food and service were good. There was music and a singer in the Bar area which was much too loud. Although we were seated far away, it was still annoying. Not really necessary for a restaurant of this quality.
Gianna was an excellent server. She was aware of the menu and food preparation and made good suggestions. We would request her as a server in the future. Our food was great, albeit a bit expensive. Thanks
This is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy fresh fish, delicious salads and lobster bisque soup. We had a great time. The service is outstanding and very friendly.
I've visited City Fish Market many times. Recently, when I arrived for my reservation, one of the hosts told me my table would be ready in a couple minutes. Another host greeted me and walked me to a table near a very loud group. I asked for a different table and was moved to the outside deck which was much quieter. Perhaps I should've chosen the outdoor seating on my reservation rather than the indoor seating. My server (I forgot her name) was very friendly, fast, and attentive. She seemed to really enjoy what she does. I ordered the Skillet Seafood Newburg Au Gratin. It arrived at my table very hot. It was delicious and plentiful. Overall, while my first impression on this particular visit was subpar, the rest of the experience made up for it. I will probably be back!

First experience and definitely won't be my last. Mallory served us our dinner of 3 and couldn't have asked for better service. It was amazing from entering the energetic establishment to both chefs introducing themselves after enjoying the amazing entrees. Felt good to dress up and enjoy a high class restaurant especially during this epidemic.

Sat on patio. Service which is usually very good was lacking. Very slow. Most of our food for 5 of us was basically cold. Not a good birthday experience for me. Usually very good.

This being a fish market and preparing fish, they should know better when preparing bad oysters. When our waiter set our oyster tray down, I noticed an odd smell. It wasn’t a fishy smell, it smelled liked poop! The moment my bf had one he immediately spit it out! The oysters were bad, due to obvious odor and they did not appear fresh. We informed our waiter and he was kind enough to remove the oysters off our tab and offered us a fresh batch. We declined his offer. After our meal, I feel skeptical on returning. If they were willing to serve us bad oysters, then what will stop them from cooking a bad fish?
