We thought this was a kosher Chinese place not a BBQ house. We decided to stay and try it out. Big mistake. Food was cold coming out and the fish tacos smelled very odd. The fried chicken appetizer came out cold and so was the burger. It was not good. The food was so not good that it gave me and my mother a stomach ate and made me throw up. Won’t be coming back here. The servers were not attentive and sitting outside was not a good idea.

The food is delicious and lots of appetizers and main variety. Very personalized service! Bistro atmosphere! Great for a celebration!

Really disappointing experience. Very slow service. Food arrived cold and not prepared to my spouse's liking. Had to send it back. We saw entrees sitting on the counter for several minutes but no server in sight to pick up and take to other guests. The so called 'music' was dreadful- just loud unpleasant noise and not conducive to a pleasant dining experience. Will never go back again!!

The key here is calling ahead to see that they have what you want. When we went, they were out of briscuit and shnitzel, the two dishes we wanted. That said, the service was good and the rib eye was more than serviceable and cooked to temperature. The chicken breast was also good. The patio looked like it was the way to go but it was full. Inside is nice but nothing special. This is not fine dining but about as good as it gets for kosher in this neck of the woods.

Great burgers with plenty of other options too. The house veggies that came with the schnitzel were really well prepared - simple but just right. Somehow I wasn't expecting that hiding under schnitzel and fries. Nice bonus!

Ditmas offers delicious food, but the prices seem steep for a menu focused primarily on burgers and chicken nuggets. Given its upscale ambiance, one would expect a more diverse selection, perhaps including high-end exotic meats like duck, elk, deer, bison, and goose liver, commonly found in the kosher world. Expanding the menu to cater to a broader range of tastes could enhance the dining experience and justify the premium prices.

Service was provided without even a smile. We sat down in chairs that had no springs in them so I was uncomfortable before my family even ordered. The decor was dirty. We ordered three different appetizers and three different main courses. The meal was the worst I have tasted in a long time. The food was dry and smothered in store bought sauces to try and make it taste good. Stay home and make yourself a meal. You will pay much less and have a better time.Note that many of the reviews for this restaurant are over a year old. The current situation does not reflect past reviews.

Service was painfully slow, Chicken and fish were dry and served cold, and seating indoors is cramped and uncomfortable. All that for a hefty bill.
