Doña Arepa Restaurant Boca Raton

I stopped in at this restaurant just to use the bathroom and thought I would buy something to be fair. I grabbed a few containers of soup, and it turns out that the soups are amazing! I have so many stashed in my freezer now! You must try their chicken soup and their lentil soup is so good, five star flavor!

This little restaurant is a hidden gem! If you are looking for tradicional Venezuelan flavors, this will not disappoint. We wanted to try their arepas and we ordered the Reina Pepiada and La Morena (roast beef pot roast like / asado negro). Both arepas were freshly made and the stuffings were so so good. The asado negro with queso guayanes combo was on point. We also ordered fresh juices, tamarindo and mora! They were perfect! We also tried their tequeños and they were crispy and cheese as they should be! Love them! For desert we had the Tres Leches and the Coconut Quesillo, both nice... both super sweet so just keep that in mind if you dont like super sugary desserts.
The restaurant is super cute! Lovely decor and little touches that say the ownwers put a lot of love knto creating the space. They also sell various Venezuelan snacks and frozen finger foods to go, whuch I think is nice. At the end the manager stopped by our table to thank us for the visit and her warmth and friendliness transported me to my beautiful Venezuela. The staff was also very friendly and pleasant.

We shared the Dona arepa mix (appetizer sampler), and the vegetarian patacon, beef arepa, and beef cachapa. Everything was amazing! The sizes of each dish were very generous. Loved the variety of sauces as well. We plan on visiting again!

Any establishment that allows their employees to feel empowered to just walk away when customers are in the middle of talking about something completely innocent and related to the interaction SHOULD NOT BE FREQUENTED BY OTHER GUESTS, FULL STOP. Management should be ashamed this is how they train their employees with such bad energy.....and in all sincerity I wish their nasty help all the best, so they simply would never have the inclination to behave that way ever again, regardless of any excuse they want to project.

Wasn't sure what to order so we tried a little bit of everything. It was absolutely delicious and friendly staff. Definitely recommend stopping by to try this out

Very good food and service

Poor attention, and very bad service, do not attend to people politely and the food does not taste good.

This is my favorite place to bring people for lunch- everyone loves it. My go to is the chicken soup with the avocado arepa! Everything is delicious, hot, and fresh made to order.
