Eat District Healthy Asian Bowl

Well that was disappointing! We’ve seen this place a few times and although they were closed last time even though they were supposed to be open, we nevertheless decided to head over and finally give them a go.

First of all, the menu is overwhelming in terms of offerings. I suspect many of the dishes are just variations on a theme but the menu is huge and you see most people spending ages when they enter trying to figure out what to eat. No - no-one from staff says hi or ask if they can help you.

We ordered the roti and dipping sauce, mushroom coconut soup, a tofu red curry and a bowl with chicken and bulgogi. The service was incredibly slow, the bowl was cold by the time it arrived and ALL the food was incredibly tasteless.

To add insult to injury, although they use real plates and bowls they use plastic utensils. Ok, that should not be such a major problem but if you are going to give plastic, can you at least provide soup spoons instead of teaspoons!? Who drinks soup with a teaspoon?!

The cleanliness was average, the decor was also average and the atmosphere was zero. The only real standout was a nice couple of girls we started chatting to who were also there for the first time and also shared our opinion on the lack of flavor.

Including a tip this tasteless meal for two cost a little over $53. There’s huge potential here I guess but I will be saving my money for the very tasty Indian a few doors down next time.

Sadly I cannot recommend.

Stay away, the food is tasteless and cold by the time I got it at the table. I had to have my soup with a SMALL PLASTIC TEASPOON which was tiring ???

Still hungry after 18 bucks

Very over priced and food was not good...Definitely a waste of money ?...the best thing about my meal was the $3 Dr. Browns canned soda...and to think I was excited about going there...was definitely fooled

Best poke in Boca! Always super fresh fish and ingredients. This has become our Friday night regular. Delivery says 45 min., I don't think I've ever waited more than 20-25 min. Staff are always exceptionally nice and accommodating for special requests. Very reasonable for the quality of food. Highly recommend.

Had a really delicious banh mi from here for lunch. The vibe is really cool, service is fast, and food is tasty. 5 stars!

We were running late after a long car ride and just wanted to grab a bite to eat before going to bed. We noticed this Asian food restaurant while parking in a shopping mall. Since it was close to closing, the restaurant didn't have much choice left. But we were served nicely and were given a warm soup bowl with chicken, Asian thin noodles with bean sprouts. It really tasted excellent. It reminded me of Thailand.
I would have liked to try other meals there, but we moved on to the next place the next day.

I don’t really understand the hype at all. Had the Korean shin ramen bowl and it was rather bland with not so great looking old green onions on top. Meat was a little boring too. My mom had bao buns that were rather boring as well with little flavor and undercooked buns. Pretty boring food, had to sriracha the whole thing to have any semblance of flavor or spice. Would not recommend…

I love Eat District! One of my go to spots for a quick lunch. They have some great options to mix and match and get different types of bowls. My kids love to go here too, which is pretty rare since this place does not have fried chicken and french fries.

Great place!!! Fantastic atmosphere with amazing service team. The food is pretty good, but I mostly go there for the study space and boba, which is amazing!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good study
