FAU - Atlantic Dining Hall

The FAU Dining Hall offers a really good experience overall. The food is tasty, and there’s a wide variety of options to choose from every day, which makes it easy to find something you’ll enjoy. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal with friends.

One area that could be improved is the availability of halal food options. While it’s great that halal meals are offered, they are not always consistently available—many times, the halal station is out of stock or not prepared, which can be disappointing, especially for students who rely on it as their main option. Increasing the consistency and variety of halal meals would make the dining experience much better for everyone.

Overall, the dining hall does a great job with food quality and atmosphere, but ensuring reliable halal options would make it excellent.

Lot of choices and reasonable priced. Where else can you get all the soda, coffee, omelets made to order, desserts and deli/salad bars and many meal choices for such a low price.

How do I start. The employees here never listen. It’s impossible to come out of the dining hall satisfied with the service you received. Forget about it if you want anything than a small portion. They literally sit there and count their portions. The worst part is one of the managers. Kevin is seen being flat out creepy. He has been seen by me staring at inappropriate parts of people he should not he looking at, along with the fact that he tries to get these girls Instagrams. Completely and utterly unprofessional behavior for someone who so highly represents the school.

Not a single review in the last year with more than 2 stars that's not a "local guide" tells you everything you need to know about compass group/chartwells at FAU. Had solid management for many years but those days are gone.

Most staff dont speak english, some are rude but some are nice. Every single table is dirty. The food is either dry, soggy, undercooked, or overcooked, I just feel nauseous after eating. Also, I get food poisoning every other time I go. The only decent things are the salad bar and the waffle maker since you make waffles yourself.

The Food is okay but the menu they have online is never fully correct. Its crazy the inconsistencies you can find on there. Have the menu be right. Don't put chicken wings on the menu and then serve them smothered in buffalo sauce (making them buffalo wings).

The fries are never the same throughout service. You could see curly fries when getting into line and have poorly cooked shoestrings when you get to the front.

The burgers are dry as heck. I can feel the moisture being drained from my body as I eat that.

Love going here for pre paid food but the workers half the time don’t speak English, and if you have a slight problem they pretend you don’t exist and are super rude especially the older lady at the swipe/pay counter and it has happened many times

I’m paying 3 THOUSAND dollars for a school dinning hall that runs out of ice, ice cream, and drinks CONSTANTLY. A Golden Corral has better service than this place. The only good thing is Savana the lady at the front desk.

Food is bad straight up. Buddy taught me how to scour and mix n match and it has made the food soooo much better. Life lessons people
