I think we had high expectations for this place from looking at the reviews in advance. Went on a Weds morning ~9a, and it was busy. This meant we waited a while for our party of 6 to be seated, and the order took quite a long time to be delivered (and our server stopped by a couple of times to say "it'll be right up" and "coming soon, sorry for the delay". The 4 stars was about the delay, not the server...he was very nice. The food was ok...mixed is probably a more fair assessment. While the french toast was tasty, the egg white omelet was very overcooked (we didn't send it back cause it may have taken too long, otherwise we would have). The kids liked their pancakes, however their famous bacon slather in syrup was very rubbery.

I have been loyal patron of this branch particularly for breakfast, drawn by its cozy atmosphere and consistently excellent food. However, my recent visit left me feeling disheartened due to a noticeable decline in service and a combination of reduced portions.
While the menu still offered a delightful array of dishes and the food quality remains commendable, the excitement was dampened by the lack of attentiveness and felt a little rushed.
Why is it in your picture your English muffin has jam or jelly with it and every single time I ask for that - I don’t get it. Does it cost extra??? I don’t want butter. It’s so stupid but so frustrating every time I have any note on an order it’s not read

Kid-friendliness: There are booster seats and highchairs and they provided crayons and coloring paper without me even asking for it. Very kid friendly.
