I was told this would be like a New York slice pizza and it was nothing like it

Owner was mean as soon as I walked in to pick up order. Yelled at me it would be 30 min. I said ok I’ll come back then when I returned in 25 min he yelled still another 5 minutes ! Then he said what do I have that I am carrying it was an empty wonton soup container. I said it’s wonton soup Mind that I was at a pick up counter no one there with me. He yelled take it outside !! I said it’s empty and before I had a chance to say I will. I said it’s empty Then he said take it outside right now ordering me to do so ! I did. Then when I went back in the order I waited for as a door dash driver got cancelled Totally treated like garbage for no reason at all. Just totally unreal.

We decided to have the deep dish pizza between the 3 of us ,my wife was out . We ordered the large while driving there so it would be ready by the time we got there ,service was great and friendly and the pizza arrived shortly after we got there .. it was 10/10 for me and my kids loved it as well the sauce was delicious and there was just enough cheese and didn't have to add anything ,the spices were on point and ate the whole pie. I will definitely be going back when I want another deepdish .

From the first bite I took of their Chicago stuffed/deep dish pizza I knew that 1. This was a family business and 2. They were from Chicago. I have lived in Chicago all my life and they make better Chicago style pizza than any place in Chicago. Hands down this is the best pizza I ever had! Thank god I finally found some Chicago food done right! I will be coming here a LOT! Thanks Giovanni’s family for bringing me a little taste of my former home!

Hands down, the best pizza in South Florida. Verona is the nicest, kindest, friendliest, most helpful woman there is and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The pizza is a trip to Italy without jumping on a plane. Do yourself a favor, go there for the most authentic Italian pizza in South Florida and my friend Verona will take care of you.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was absolutely starving at 1:00 AM and so grateful to find Giovanni’s Pizza open late! From the moment I called, the experience was top-tier. Verona answered the phone and was simply amazing — she patiently walked me through the entire menu, helped me decide what to get, and made me feel like a valued customer. Even when I arrived to pick up my food, she was just as kind and welcoming in person. The service was outstanding, and the food hit the spot! I’ll definitely be back. Late-night cravings = solved! 🍕🙌
