H&H in NYC is very popular. They are trying to franchise it down in Florida. This is nothing special and expensive based off of other bagel places. Food was good but no big deal.

I have no idea what the hype was all about. We went out of our way to try this new so called amazing bagel. Sorry to break the news. Horrible.

Save your time and money. 99% of.my posts are about good places. I rarely give a bad review. If I do. It could not be ignored or I give in account a bad day. No excuse for this place after all the hype. I don't get it.

Bagels were absolutely inedible - they were a freshly baked dozen, received by delivery, 3 different types- plain, everything, and egg --> all bland, flavorless, almost like eating a chunk of sour cardboard - coming from a New Yorker who has been to H&H in NYC -- there is a serious deficiency either in their recipe or bakery execution here - you're better off with bagels from Publix (but just go to Flakowitz, or Brooklyn Bagels, or any local bagel place, just not H&H, sadly even Einstein is much better than what they're serving up here) - very disappointed. No customer service available - store phone # when called gives you no recourse. Look at all the other sub par reviews here on Google and Yelp.) Also notice there is no response from owners to all the other online bad reviews - I guess they care about their customers as much as they care about the horrible bagels.

This place is getting too much hate. I will say there are definitely better tasting bagels to be had in boca, but their ingredients are quality and taste freshly prepared. Everything has a plain taste and doesn’t taste like it’s loaded with sodium, which I find to be a plus. I do think their whole wheat everything is lacking in that everything bagel taste, but again it is still of high quality. I think their biggest issue is that they ship the bagels from NY frozen to retain that coveted NY water taste. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just have the water shipped here and then make the bagels fresh with it that way? Regardless, it’s a solid spot and the pricing is incredibly fair especially for Boca.

Lots of bagels to choose from. However the Tuna Salad is just OK, too runny. We asked for the bagel to be scooped & toasted, came out not toasted. They don’t have paper plates, only sheets of paper. Employees were pleasant. Good Luck!

A good bagel but overhyped. The rest of the experience is being in a typical, decent bagel shop.

Stopped here for lunch with a friend. Service was very good. They even gave me recommendations on what to order. Food was quick, fresh and tasty!! The bagel was toasted and really good. I had a cold brew coffee as well which kept me going throughout the afternoon. I’ll definitely come back!

Really appreciate the NY style bagel, and BE&C on the thin fresh roll was amazing!

Great bagels, chicken salad and service…even the chocolate chip muffin was delicious!
Super friendly and accommodating owners! I don’t understand some of these people leaving such harsh reviews…give them a chance, they just opened! Not surprising for Boca, unfortunately.
Keep up the great work guys!

Went to H&H to get bagels. If you’ve ever had the original H&H bagels in NYC you will be extremely disappointed. They look and taste like supermarket bagels. Plenty of better bagels around.

I am from NYC and have been to H&H many times in NY and so I was excited to order food from one of my favorites now in Florida. I ordered on Uber Eats and what I got was atrocious all around. The Tuna was awful and spoiled, the chicken salad was all water and runny, the pound of turkey I ordered was delivered to me in individual sandwich portions rolled up and to top it ALL off the bagels were basically raw. This has got to be a franchise because I would have to imagine the owners in NY would never allow this awful representation to go down if this belonged to them. STAY FAR AWAY this is ridiculous.

Used to go to HH on the upper east side 10yrs ago. It was a pretty good bagel. The bagels at this HH are the complete opposite. Might’ve been one of the worst bagels I’ve eaten down here. Tasted stale and flavorless. They also try to charge $18 for a lb of tuna…

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered lox w/cream cheese on a bagel and was charged for “The Works”. I told the cashier that I didn’t get the works which included tomatoes, onions and capers, when my sandwich was completely plain. They started speaking in Spanish without realizing I was able to understand them and said to “just charge her for the works anyway”. Well to me that’s price gauging and extremely dishonest. The sandwich itself was disgusting and I could go to any other bagel store in Boca that tastes better and doesn’t treat their customers like that. I will be telling all my friends and family to stay away. Wouldn’t be surprised if this place goes out of business soon. SCAM ARTISTS..STAY FAR AWAY!!

Edit!!!! Dropped to ONE STAR. My husband asked me to get a dozen bagels to 'support' this place because we are UES transplants. Service SUCKED and a baker's dozen is 13- not 12.
Seriously thought it was a one and done but I got shweemed here TWICE.
By the way, your phone lines have been down and AC out. Totally rip off, waste of my time, and hard earned money. Plenty of better food places that have their acts together as well as the food i want. Pissed off to say the least. $26.43 for rudeness (really stupidity) and inaccuracy.

--- this below was posted last weekend. Ive taken away the 4 stars...Good bagels with generous amounts of shmear. Lost a star for not having what I really wanted- a taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich. No taylor ham. Bummer.
Owners working hard restocking and cleaning. I'll come back in a few months. Half hour wait was not a problem.
