A great Saturday night dinner. An hour wait, but so worth the wait. A delicious dinner with sides and a great server.
Kudos to visiting manager Nick, who really knows how to run a busy restaurant.
Busy, but he was a calming influence on the show. Greeting guests, running food, checking on orders and making sure everything was runnig smoothly.
A fun and delicious experience, and so worth the wait.

DO NOT COME HERE WITH young children. This was gonna be my first experience with Houston’s yesterday. The hostess was extremely rude from the moment she witnessed that we had a baby in our hands. We had a reservation, as well as a stroller. As soon as she told us, the table was ready she told us in a rude manner that we cannot bring the stroller, that we have to hold my daughter in my lap.. so I asked if there was a highchair she said no. So we asked maybe if they had another table that we could take out a chair and put the stroller in acting as if it’s a chair. She then proceeded to tell us “ that it would be an hour wait for a different table”. So therefore, she was not willing to accommodate us even though we had made reservations & we had no idea about this “ rule” since it is NOWHERE listed anywhere on the site nor when booking reservations..We spoke to the manager Ben and he also didn’t do anything besides, tell us that it’s because of “fire hazard” . By far the WORST first impression ever. I would never recommend to anyone with kids.

Food and drinks are great here. Host wouldn’t sit me until the person I was meeting was in the building, even though she was parking and I wanted to order a drink. I was told I could go to bar instead, which was overcrowded.

My car was stolen from the parking lot of this Houstons and the staff, while offering condolences while I was onsite were so uncaring when it came to following through and following up. The fact this happened in the parking lot of a reputable restaurant chain is bad enough, because I imagine patrons come to the establishment assuming when they park its parking lot they are safe to dine without fear for their vehicle. At the price point of their meals one would expect there is security circulating the lot to ensure vehicles and patrons are safe as they come and go. Apparently not. I notified them my car was missing upon noticing it after exiting after a meal with my son on his birthday and all I got was sorry about that. The manager took my information, even asked to see my drivers license and took my phone number saying she would have the parking lot cameras looked at and had me detail where I parked and what vehicles and people I recalled as I exited my vehicle yet after I left the parking lot Houstons never contacted me on the status of the promise to review the cameras, nor to check what came of me or my vehicle nor to provide any footage the Boca Raton police might have found useful to catch whoever did this. The thieves stole 6k worth of car computer equipment from my vehicle rendering it unable to drive when it was finally found in Miami! I don't expect Houstons could do much if they don't have security perusing the lot but at least the consideration of a follow-up call to let me know the status of locating any footage of the time frame and my car or to express basic care given my family and I have been patrons of many years to multiple locations including this one. Very disappointed and will not return to this establishment.

Have a reservation but still had to wait 20 mins on a Saturday at 3:30 with at least 25 % of the restaurant empty. Then of course same tuna sashimi salad I've eaten at Houstons for many years shows up with 5 cubes of seared tuna and less than one cup of greens/mango/ avocado mix. It was Boca but $27 for a side salad ? Bye bye. Hustons after 30 years.

Finished work early. Restaurant EMPTY! Had 5pm reservation. It’s 4:54. I told them I’d like to be seated so I could order a drink, get an appetizer. They refused to seat us because we were an incomplete party of 4! There is a reason we don’t EVER eat here. We spoke to the manager who was less than accommodating. The hostess was arrogant and snooty. I enjoy the other couple’s company. They made the reservation. In Boca Raton, there is lots of competition. I won’t be back. The food is nothing to rave about. Mediocre to tell you the truth.

What kind of restaurant refuses to accommodate parties of 6? It’s not like that’s an incredibly large group. A family of 4 and two grandparents are already 6 people. Never been here before, tried to make a reservation, was told not only do they not take reservations for 6 but they will not seat a table of 6. You will never get my business I can tell you that. How ridiculous!

One of my favorite restaurants in Boca. The food is amazing, good quality, and the service is better than the Breakers in Palm Beach. Definitely make a reservation.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Houston’s Boca Raton, and it had nothing to do with the food or the waitstaff.
Our table was enjoying what had been a great meal. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, entrees, dessert, coffee, and tea — the full dining experience!!! The service staff was excellent and attentive, and the restaurant was not busy since it was in between lunch and dinner.
Then the manager, BEN, came to our table and delivered the most distasteful and appalling communication I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. He bluntly informed us that “their dining experience is 1.5 hours and so we had to leave.” No courtesy! No professionalism! No awareness of how inappropriate that was, especially given that we were actively dining and spending money!!!
What a way for BEN to completely ruin what was otherwise a great experience. It felt rushed, disrespectful, and frankly insulting as paying guests. HOUSTON'S SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED that this is how management speaks to customers. NOT ONLY DID BEN DO THIS TO OUR TABLE, BUT ANOTHER TABLE AS WELL.
Great food. Great service from the staff. Horrible management.
I will NEVER go there again.

The food was great and our server was nice. We ordered drinks, appetizers, food, desserts, coffee, tea...but the servers chose to ignore us after a 20% tip and BEN soy boy manager came to tell us they needed the table and that we had to leave. While we understand how the business works, it was the way it was done. We paid and then we were ignored 5 times when we asked for water while we were finishing our dessert and coffee. Completely absurd, rude and lacking any regard for paying customers.

Wow what a horrible customer service experience from Brook.
Houstons should save families the trouble and just write on their website that they don't accommodate families with children.

When we entered we were not told that kids would not be accommodated, if we did we wouldn't have dined. We came at 12:30PM on a Saturday (Mid-day meal).

10 min after our food arrived our 1.5 year old began to fuss (not overly, just what you'd expect from a toddler). The server came and asked us to step outside to sooth the baby to which we agreed. But she repeated it to us 3 times within the 30 second conversation that we need to step outside. We were obviously being kicked out so I took the baby and stepped outside while my husband handled the check.

When he asked to speak to Brook the server again as we were leaving, she did not accept to come. I understand that restaurants need to maintain a specific atmosphere, however the situation was so poorly handled. No upfront disclaimer that families will not be accommodated and no apology when we were asked to leave mid meal. We paid for a meal we didn't have the chance to enjoy. We won't be back.

Houston’s hates families! We had a party of seven. I called earlier and asked to make a reservation and they said they do not take reservations for parties of more than four people. Not a problem, we were willing to wait. When we showed up, they would not accommodate a table of 7 at all, even if we were willing to wait longer. I asked if they could get us a table for three and a table for four next to or near each other and they also refused that. Asked if they had a booth where we could just squeeze in and they also refused that. Apparently, the girl at the desk said they do not take parties more than five no matter what. Clearly, they hate families I have never heard of such a thing.
