I am devastated. After so many years, Howard's is gone. A neighborhood market I could walk to. Friendly staff.Outstanding meats, prepared food and salads. Word on the street is they will be opening on Atlantic Blvd. In Pompano.You guys down there are in for a treat.And thought I may not be walking there, I still plan to make the occasional drive.Best of luck, and miss you already.

It's closed. Permanently. There is a big banner in the front of the store saying they are opening up 2 new locations in Deerfield and Parkland.

If you are new to the area, the market has been here since I can remember (moved here in 92). In the past several years the store has slowly gone down hill. The shelves and refrigerated areas are always low on stock if not empty, and the smell when you enter the store is not pleasant.The store ran like a machine when Howard was still around. I think his son is running it now and if you see him in the store he always seems to be miserable.Also, they use to have a great wine selection but that keeps dwindling away as well.

Best authentic tiramisu, baked goods. Sorry to hear of closing, will miss the convenience and excellent produce. Alway reminded me of small market I used to shop at up north growing up.

Shopped at Howard's since inception.Spent somewhere between 300 and 600 a month,believe that made me a decent reliable customer.I complained about how the prices at Howard's were becoming difficult for me to afford continuing shopping there and apparently he didn't like that.Ive no problem with price increases I have a problem when the increases more than his increases.Ive noticed there's hardly anyone in the store after many visits there.I must not be the only dissatisfied customer.Im hoping whoever takes over Howard's will be more price conscious,personally there were several employees that were very nice Jules,the 2 blonde cashiers and believe his name is Ken in the meat section.I wish them the best,and just a thank you would of been nice once in a while never from the owner,it's a puzzle to me how he stayed in business

I leave Howard's every time thinking why did I just shop here and pay a dollar to $2 more for less customer service in what essentially is an upscale Bodega. I don't think I've ever seen the cashier smile once. The prepared foods is probably what keeps the doors open. But anything that they didn't prepare they repackaged and marked up. Ive just never been in a store with so many empty shelves. Considering its tucked into the back of the neighborhood thats its saving Grace

As much as I would love to shop at this store as it is convenient to where I live . BUT upon entering the store there is always a foul smell of perhaps old seafood and or fish . Empty shelves .. just depressing

Howard catered a party for me on Sunday. I got the appetizer feast. everything was delicious, they came right on time, set everything up with the sterno and all the containers. everything tasted delicious and there was more than enough for the people I ordered for ,the servings were very generous and the steak sate was so tender it melted in your mouth!!! The shrimp was large and juicy, cooked to perfection, the fruit was fresh and ripe. Now I can entertain and not have to worry about preparing any food.Thanks Howard, Debbie Brauer

The Passover selection here is ample in inventory, loved spending time here with my family and choosing our favorite snacks to purchase for this amazing holiday, great job in keeping everything in stock and the store was super high end and clean

this place sells expired food or food that’s near its expiration date and if you aren’t a regular you don’t get friendly costumer service me and 2 other buddies got kicked and and banned for putting a bag of chips in a different snack isle
