Jon's employees make better pizza than Jon himself. But I love the guy nonetheless. He is a jewel in that space of proprietor entrepreneur. What he needs is a falafel like Ave M & E. 17th in Brooklyn closest thing to the Eretz Yisrael version and if he could make a lentil soup with focaccia but keep the sodium down then it would be heaven.

The cashier and cook have no idea what a hummus apprizer is and it’s listed in huge print over the counter. They also list kinish but it was news to them and they had none. Ended up with a falafel pita, it was cheap, the falafels and pita were good, but there was little else to it besides some very bland strips of Romain and a few flavorless cubes of tomato and cucumber. Bathroom clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, tables and chairs were extremely grimy. Shocked they have a kosher certificate with the lack of cleanliness. Maybe the pizza is ok, I didn’t have any, can’t imagine how they would still be open if it isn’t.
