One of my favorite restaurants in Boca Raton! The atmosphere is beautiful and the food and service were excellent. Josephine and her staff couldn’t have been nicer to our family. I am looking forward to hosting our next family event there. Ignore any of the negativity on here, we couldn’t be more satisfied!

We had a late dinner at Josephine’s for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is very nice with beautiful white tablecloth. Prompt and attentive service. The menu was good and some of us ordered a la carte while some had the 3 course prix-fixe menu. The food was delicious and the wait was very short. All 7 of us had a great time and enjoyed the dinner and the live music. I saw a few negative reviews, not sure about them because we really like the restaurant. The cost for a three course meal with drinks was about $70 p.p.

Both the absolute worst dining experience I’ve ever had and the best waiter service I’ve ever had. We were “lucky” enough to be “greeted” by Josephine herself who scowled at us to begin with and reluctantly sat us down for our reservation. I explained to her that we were having clients join us for a happy hour and we may have less people than originally scheduled and she could place us where convenient. Our guests unfortunately had to leave early and as I expected to expense this dinner, I was just going to have our waiter ring us up for extra food to accommodate the confusion. But instead, Miss Josephine stomped up, scolded us for an event that wasn’t our direct fault, and yelled at us to “never do this again to anyone else.”By the way, the restaurant was absolutely empty (literally no other tables) and we were the only business there nearly the entire night. I nearly walked out then and there, frankly I should have, but our waiter was beyond accommodating and so respectful and understanding. I would have left for Josephine but I stayed for him because he went above and beyond.Treating your customers like this, as an owner, is absolutely unacceptable and her behavior was almost embarrassing as her fake Gucci belt.If you are looking to book this restaurant, read the negative reviews as they are all spot on. I never want to see any small business fail, but this was a location we were looking forward to taking our clients to again and again but instead will never return. Miss Josephine also canceled my reservation while I was at the table so I wouldn’t receive Open Table points. Literally lol. I’m looking forward to seeing this business close soon but hope the amazing waiter lands somewhere great because he deserves it.

We are tourists in Boca Raton for one night and decided to eat at Josephine’s because the food looked delicious but I wish we had read the reviews because it was a horrible experience mostly due to the service. I have never in my life eaten at a restaurant where they seemed essentially angry that you arrived to spend money on their food. We would have spent much more money had the staff not been so rude ( except the incredibly sweet hostess ).Our waiter, an older bald gentleman showed up to our table 20 minute after seating and could not be bothered to actually wait on us at any point in the evening, in fact it felt as though he had been forced to be our waiter and wished we would leave immediately. He demanded we order when he came back with our drinks and we barely saw him again until he delivered our check by throwing it at the table. Never once offered to refill or order additional drinks, ask how our food was or honestly speak to us at all.A couple next to us left after appetizers because the service was so horrible and their octopus was so overcooked that it was like rubber. Their waiter just kept asking him what he meant by that and if they had ever had octopus implying that the couple was ignorant on how octopus should taste instead of just fixing their mistake because overcooked octopus is inedible.The food was okay but the atmosphere was great with the live music which makes the experience even more disappointing because we were so excited when we sat down. What a waste of our time, money and effort.My advice would be to save your money and support another small business locally because I wish we had.

What a fun place! Live entertainment, the food is great and staff is friendly. They serve THE BEST PORK CHOP I’ve ever eaten! And that’s not an exaggeration! We’ll definitely be back.

What a delightful dinner experience. This is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff, service and food. We had attended a private party here last year and had a great experience. However, this was the first time my husband and I, as well as another couple, actually dined in the restaurant itself. We were fortunate enough to dine on a Friday evening when there was an excellent singer who provided entertainment. We cant wait to return to Josephine's again!
