Excellent experience there. The service was great along with the food. We will definitely return and dine with them again. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Kasumi is a high end sushi restaurant - rare for this area. The service is impeccable and ambiance is elegant . The food is innovative and very fresh and tasty. Their menu is limited but what they offer is very good. In particular their Wagyu is amazing! We had to reorder it! I highly recommend this if you love sushi and Japanese food and are looking for a high end experience
Great ambiance, outstanding outdoor space, Service is a 10 and the food was fresh, and dleious
Great dinner. Food was exceptional! Drinks were delicious. A bit on the pricey side but thoroughly enjoyed the experience with family! Will definitely go back again.
The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the selections were varied. The only concern was the price. Expect to pay waaaay above average, but it was pretty much worth it!
Excellent food. Wait staff knew what was on the menu for recommendations. Recommend the hamachi crudo as an appetizer and the spicy tuna roll.
Food was not good. The actual fish was not good quality and smelled like it had been sitting out in the sun for hours. Some of the worst sushi I've had.
Absolutely Outstanding Dining Experience!
Professional cuisine with a stunning view of Boca Lake. Our server Shim (Jeff) was exceptional — incredibly polite, well-educated, and attentive, delivering true Japanese-style hospitality.
The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The otoro tuna and caviar sashimi and nigiri were the best I’ve ever had. The crudos — hamachi and omachi — were fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. The espresso martini (with a funny, unforgettable name!) was perfectly balanced. And the chocolate mousse dessert — simply sensational.
This place delivers the full experience: exquisite flavors, elegant presentation, and top-notch service. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the best Japanese dining in Boca Raton with a view to match.

Our first time eating at Kasumi. Serene, elegant, beautiful setting. The food was ok, not over the top special. our sushi rolls came with a miniscule amount of wasabi, and a very small pile of coarsely chopped long chunks of ginger. Sake took awhile to arrive, was not piping hot, had to be rewarmed. Prices much higher than expected. Sake portion $45.00. Small, precious portions, nicely presented but the more substantial plates were over $50.00-$75.00 ( for a wagyu beef small entree) Still, I would go back. The waitstaff tried hard, food elegant, just a but too precious, easy to leave still hungry.
Slow service and it was not that busy....food very good but the price is high. One would think for the price you pay they would validate the valet.

It was my first time stopping in, and I had the best time! the food, the service, and the atmosphere was amazing - but what separated Kasumi from other spots in boca was Jamica, she was warm, attentive and personable. Completely made the experience, will come again and ask for Jamica!

So much promise! The food is delicious; fresh, vibrant, and a step above typical sushi. I just wish the bar lived up to the same standard. Kasumi has a beautiful bar area, but it's underutilized, with limited drink knowledge and lackluster presentation. This is such a missed opportunity—your bar should set the tone for the entire experience, not fall flat. Once we left the bar and sat outside, everything was wonderful. We will return.
sushi was disappointing- it was merely ok, not great . none of the fish had that mouth- watering melt in your mouth look and feel, it was more opaque than translucent, very dry. we have had much better sushi at lemongrass for half the price.
