Absolutely Outstanding Dining Experience!
Professional cuisine with a stunning view of Boca Lake. Our server Shim (Jeff) was exceptional — incredibly polite, well-educated, and attentive, delivering true Japanese-style hospitality.
The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The otoro tuna and caviar sashimi and nigiri were the best I’ve ever had. The crudos — hamachi and omachi — were fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. The espresso martini (with a funny, unforgettable name!) was perfectly balanced. And the chocolate mousse dessert — simply sensational.
This place delivers the full experience: exquisite flavors, elegant presentation, and top-notch service. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the best Japanese dining in Boca Raton with a view to match.

It was my first time stopping in, and I had the best time! the food, the service, and the atmosphere was amazing - but what separated Kasumi from other spots in boca was Jamica, she was warm, attentive and personable. Completely made the experience, will come again and ask for Jamica!

The best sushi in Florida! By far! Great decor, staff was super courteous and attentive. Im Japanese and have eaten sushi in Japan, so I know what exceptional sushi is. And let me tell you it's very hard to find. The chefs are from Japan and know how to execute it flawlessly. If you are ever in Boca Raton, it is a MUST try!

Live right down A1A and don’t know how we didn’t come here sooner. Chef was working the pass, Helli and Mimi behind the sushi bar and Evelynn as our server was amazing. They take the food and drinks seriously and it was a great experience. Evelynn was able to describe dishes down to the herbs used and made great suggestions. We loved being able to order directly with the sushi chefs. Standouts were the scallop sashimi starter with shaved hearts of palm with a vinaigrette. Spicy tuna on a smoky toasted rice cake with beautiful garnishes was familiar but elevated here by the chef. Hamachi crudo and a selection of nigiri rounded out our meal and we tried the AgeTofu which was delicious! We will be back. If you are a local it’s a must and if you are visiting it’s a special night out in Boca. Cocktails were well crafted and the prices were more than fair for the quality of the dishes.

Restaurantji Recommends
We enjoyed this place, the food was good except for the tuna tartar which lacked flavor and had an overly fishy taste, though the other sushi rolls we ordered were fresh and enjoyable.
What was most concerning, however, was discovering an unauthorized overcharge on our credit card the next day. We tried multiple times to contact the restaurant to resolve the issue, but no one answered or returned our calls.

Crystal our server was so sweet! Love the ambiance very dog friendly
Truly an incredible place. From the waterfront views and thoughtful culinary creations, I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s hard to find a restaurant in the area that offers both good views and amazing food, and Kasumi checks both boxes. The amount of thought and detail that went into each plate, cocktail and interior design element truly shows. I came for Happy Hour (offered Tuesday-Friday, 5-7pm) and was blown away by the full-sized dishes and large variety of options to choose from. We came super hungry and tried almost everything on the menu because it looked so good, which worked out since everything was very shareable. The nigiri was phenomenal and literally melted in my mouth paired with the best house-made spicy mayo I’ve ever tasted; my only regret is not asking for a gallon of it to take home. The Grilled s
Shishito Peppers (dunked in the spicy mayo too of course) and Wagyu Beef Gyozas made the perfect appetizers and the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon, Short Rib Fried Rice and Chicken Kushi Katsu stole the show - I think those were the best renditions of these dishes I’ve ever had all for a Happy Hour price. Don’t miss the cocktails as well, which are also discounted; the Cherry Blossom Old Fashioned and Nashi Mule were expertly crafted, all made with fresh house made syrups and with unique twists. Although not part of Happy Hour, we treated ourselves to most delicious chocolate mousse and ganache dessert that I’m still drooling over. I will be definitely be back.
