The best French food!!!
No one was there after taking the long drive for a beautiful night. The whole place was dark.
Unfortunately we arrived on time for a 7:45 reservation to an empty parking lot. There was a sign on the door indicating restaurant closed due to a plumbing issue. Suspect restaurant has permanently closed. If temporary you'd think they would call to cancel. Not the way to treat clientele if expect to reopen.
The French Gazebo is a charming and elegant boutique that beautifully blends Parisian flair with South Florida sophistication. Located on North Federal Highway in Boca Raton, this shop is a hidden gem for those seeking unique fashion, thoughtful gifts, and refined home accents.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The curated selection features timeless clothing, artisan jewelry, and tasteful accessories, all thoughtfully displayed. Each item feels handpicked with care and style in mind.
The staff is gracious, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping you find something special—whether it’s a gift, a wardrobe piece, or a beautiful item for your home. Their attention to detail and customer service creates a shopping experience that feels both personal and memorable.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, The French Gazebo offers a delightful escape into elegance and charm. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back—not just for the merchandise, but for the experience.

We made dinner reservations over a month ago for a special occasion. On the day of the reservation we received several confirmations (as we normally do) through OpenTable. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant was closed and their was a note in the window saying they were closed for a "plumbing issue". While we understand that stuff happens, an email or a call would have ben appreciated.
I had a confirmed reservation for Saturday 6/14. They emailed me to confirm it the day before. We drove 45 minutes from Ft Lauderdale and they were closed. No email or call to tell me. I'm sure they food is good but the customer service is unfortunately lacking.

Still excellent. I have been going here for 20 years, with both clients and family/friends. Had dinner here last week and was great.

This used to be our favorite restaurant. Cocktails are extremely overpriced now. A chocolate martini loaded with chocolate syrup and little alcohol was $25.00, the last time we were there several months ago they were $15.00. They advertise their prix fixed menu, and have you make a reservation, but don’t give you the menu, you have to ask for it. Just not the way it used to be, which is probably why it was almost empty on a Thursday evening. Cuisine is delicious.

We received an email about their prix fixed menu and wanted to experience it. After being given the regular menu and being asked if we wanted to order we had to request the special menu. The menu is excellent. However, the cocktails were much higher than our last visit. Three cocktails were almost as much as the special menu. A chocolate martini was $25 and a cosmo was 20. If we go back we won't be ordering cocktails. A shame because we used to love their venue.

The lovely decor did not compensate for the overdone duck and the first bottle of wine we had to send back. Very disappointing!
A lovely experience. Food was outstanding. All commented on how excellent the fish we had ordered was prepared.
It was a birthday treat! We've been to the restaurant a few times. Lovely decor. We each had a kir. I had the yummy escargot (altho' they were a little small but in the traditional shell); hubby enjoyed his oysters Rockefeller. While the daily specials sounded great, I stuck with my plan to finally enjoy the Dover Sole and wasn't disappointed. I prefer to debone it myself, and after presenting the very good sized fish, I dug in! Hubby had the Osso Buco, served with noodles instead of mashed potatoes which he would have preferred. There's a nice selection of wines by the glass. As it was my birthday, we had a lovely complementary strawberry shortcake-type of goodie. All in all, a most delightful celebration. One hiccup, my OT reward for whatever reason didn't show up in their system, something I'm now trying to straighten out with admins.
It was my birthday and everything was wonderful. We requested a booth and had a great time.
A beautiful restaurant with an award winning wait staff ! It is definitely one of the best fine dining restaurants. I always look forward to the escargot and Dover Sole but the menu is wonderful. It never disappoints!
