This cozy hidden gem is definitely worthy of a Michelin star. The curated menu is absolutely perfect every time we dine at Le Bistro. We love it!
We had a top notch gourmet experience both times we were there. Can't recommend it enough.
1st time at this restaurant. We showed up at 8:30pm. Very relaxed old school feeling-goes very well with the food style and menu. We had the mushroom and French onion soup. Most people who eat the onion soup made the American way won't ever want to do that ever again. This soup is made in the traditional French style-and does not disappoint. We also had the lamb chops and beef medallion dishes-again classily prepared and exceeded any other restaurant that offers these on their menu. We have added this restaurant to our must go to places! Michelin should absolutely rank this husband-wife team with a well earned star!
We had a wonderful dinner. The food was amazing. French onion soup was incredible. Such rich flavours. We shared the beef Wellington which was so great. The light pastry, beef was cooked perfectly and the entire dish was fabulous! This was our 2nd time at Le Bistro, both times we had a really great night out with amazing food! Highly recommend
Food was very good, but as the (owner?) shared before the food came out, not large portions. The lamb chops were delicious, but very small (major bummer, it's what I went there for). The shrimp risotto was delicious and good size portion. Wine list had a nice variety, with nothing too outrageous, price wise. The ambience was very bright, they did dim the lights when we asked, but before then it felt like ‘closing time'. Very friendly staff and looked like a lot of happy, regular diners. Definitely try it out!
Le Bistro is a gem. Such a refreshing choice amongst the big corporate restaurants in the area. The food was excellent, the service truly personal and the ambiance elegantly tasteful. Perfect for a romantic evening. Being from San Francisco and New York City, I've been searching for a place like this in SoFL. From the fresh flowers to the tasteful art on the walls, a breath of fresh air! 🌹🌹🌹
Another delightful evening at my favorite South Florida restaurant. Enjoyed the most beautiful salad with Italian Gorgonzola and delicious Dijon dressing. After, their mushroom (soooo good) followed by the freshest seafood dish, pumpkin swordfish. Light and easy with perfectly cooked vegetables, quality evoo & organic lemon. Sorry, no room for dessert this time. See you again soon
First time visiting ! The food and service were very good. Was a bit disappointed that they would not allow 1 of us to eat off the Dine out menu considering the restaurant had exactly 2 tables of guests. I had the lamp chops very tender and tasty. My friend the shrimp risotto a d she really liked it! Overall enjoyed the experience abs will likely return.
The dine out Ft Lauderdale menu had some good choices, including beef Wellington for a bit more up charge. The escargot were delicious and the crêpes and they were very good as well. Cute place quiet nothing novel about it but good classic French brasserie style food.
This restaurant was a nice surprise. Le Bistro comes up when looking for French cuisine, but we never tried it. The only thing of note is that while it has a French name it is not 100% French cuisine like you might experience at Frenchy's Table or Traditions. It is French with a few additional items that round out the menu for a very nice experience. Worth checking out for sure!

Le Bistro is wonderful! I dine all over the world and the food here compares to the best places in a grand way! A lot of thought and care go into the dishes. Steak and seafood cooked perfectly as asked. Salad dressing (Dijon vinaigrette) divine! Go rich or go simple, this bistro (comfortable bistro ambiance) has it all! Desserts all home made, worthy of a next day fast. Creme Brulee and chocolate tort are favorites. Next time I'll try the crepes.
A hidden gem! Don't let the exterior strip mall deter you. Best food in the area! Perfectly prepared and expertly plated. Just like being in a top French restaurant in Paris. Owners are always so welcoming and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!
Attentive, friendly and courteous service. The food was excellent. The ambience should receive a renewal. Otherwise everything tiptop.
There are very few French restaurants so we thought we would give this place a try. The waiter was very stiff, impersonal, and did not make it the best experience. We ordered a Diet Coke and regular Coke. We heard him cracking a can of soda in the back. When he brought the drinks, the regular coke tasted funny so we asked for a new drink, Sprite. When the bill came, he charged for both the regular Coke, and Sprite, for a total of $10 plus the Diet Coke for $5. $15 in canned soda with no refills! Plus, the first one didn't taste right so one would think this shouldn't be charged. This is outrageous. Food was okay, but nothing that would make us return to have again. This was truly a disappointing experience. Keep up the poor customer service and you'll lose even more customers.
Everything was very nice either one exception. It was our anniversary and our intention was to dine but with only one other 4 top that came in approximately 20 minutes after us we felt our entire meal was rushed. The steak Diane ordered as the fillet med rare was delicious but felt the sauce was too heavy and almost tasted like the mushroom soup offered that evening. French onion soup was not like any we've had before, definitely not the expected browned cheese on top of bread with thick onion soup base. Looked like an orange burned mess served in a small bowl with not the normal French soup taste. Bread board was delicious. We passed on dessert.
