I stopped by this spot with my husband for lunch. The food and service were awesome. We went for a walk and did some shopping and came right back for happy hour/dinner. Chris kept our glasses full and every suggestion he made from the menu was on point. We're regulars now!

I have NEVER been so disappointed with a restaurant in my life! After phoning various restaurants in town to treat my husband to a lobster dinner for his birthday, I decided to choose Loch Bar. The gentleman who answered the phone said that this Monday, April 1st which was my husband's birthday, was actually Lobster Monday and the 1 1/2 lobster meal was $55 instead of $65. It was nice but the important thing was that they had full lobsters on the menu instead of just lobster tails. The hostess was very accommodating and since it was a lovely early afternoon we chose to sit outdoors at a high top. She said we could sit anywhere we liked. The entire restaurant was empty but then again it was only 3PM. Matt, our server, informed us right from the start that there was no discount on the lobster dinners only the lobster rolls. No big deal but that isn't what we were told when we first called. We ordered an artichoke appetizer and it came out with lumps of melted butter in each quarter so we had them take it back and give us one without butter because there was no mention of butter. My husband ordered the lobster dinner. We had to ask for some bread and we also ordered the grilled asparagus appetizer which was okay.Matt was attentive to our needs and he chatted with us for a few seconds. I mentioned to him that my husband was a retired chef and he was really looking forward to this lobster dinner since I hated him cooking lobsters at home. The lobster came out ICE COLD! My husband asked for the manager and JEFF, the manager of 3 days, came out to speak with us. My husband explained to him that this must have been a leftover lobster from yesterday stored in the refrigerator and then dipped in hot water for a few minutes. He asked JEFF to touch the lobster and he was basically speechless and agreed. Then he asked my husband if he would like another one. My husband said absolutely not since he mentioned he was a chef and knew that any other one would probably also be in the refrigerator as well just waiting to be dropped into hot water. He wasn't interested in eating leftover lobsters. JEFF didn't seem to care at all. We then asked for a check from Matt, added a tip and left.As I mentioned before, the restaurant was totally empty at this hour and you would think they would care even a little bit. JEFF does not seem to be management oriented. He came across as though he couldn't care less! The entertainer, Sara Ann, who was singing indoors, waited till I was seated to sing Happy Birthday to my husband before we left. She was so sweet and entertaining. It could have been a perfect afternoon but we now had to go find somewhere else to eat!Don't waste your time here! There are so many other restaurants that have quality food, excellent staff/customer service and management that really cares!

I took out the lobster roll for the first time hoping it was as good as those I've enjoyed in Martha's Vineyard. I also was game to try it b/c their crabcakes are always excellent. I was extremely disappointed. The lobster roll is way overpriced for what amounts to over fried bits of the claw. I will not ever purchase this order again.

So as a Maryland transplant, I was skeptical, but we came to an event here with like minded people. The food was great, and it is a legitimate Maryland crabcake for sure. Special shout out to server Jerry he was over the top!

We came in specifically for Happy Hour. This is only available at the high tops and the bar. We had 2 handicapped people in our party of 6. We were forced to order from the regular menu at a regular table. The food was mediocre at best. The wait staff was very pushy in trying to upsell every item that was ordered but quite lackluster in service. Furthermore, conversation at the table was impossible due to the singer who was belting out songs VERY loudly, and even increased the volume midway through the non-stop set.

Sat outside and dined here for the first time on Lobster night (Monday’s). Oysters and middle neck clams were good. The lobster was $55 on Monday usually 2x. So value decent and was delicious. Not sure about the about the rest of the menu but it is seafood focused. I will come back and try the seafood at some point.

Our server Sam was exceptional. Between great service and being very attentive with drink refills, she went above and beyond. The coffeehouse live music was also wonderful and not overly loud. It was a great experience and the food was delicious as always.

One of the best meals ever. 10 stars. Crab cake beyond amazing. 2 1/2 lb lobster cooked to perfection. Sides were amazing but leave room for the blondie smore desert. Theo was the best waiter ever. His suggestions were so on point. Listen to your waiter. They know what's best and everything was perfect. Don't miss this place

Never disappoints! Best crab cakes ever... can't eat them anywhere else. The noise level is always high however this was a lunch - very quiet :) Oh I tried the chicken for the very first time on my previous visit -impressive :)

Hi, Every year our client/friend who comes down to Florida for Season requests to all go out for Oysters. Over the years we have take her to many "Oyster" restaurants. For her to request LOCH BAR again this year is pretty stellar in our opinion. We come for and especially Love LOCH BAR'S HAPPY HOUR. It is a nice introduction to the great food that the restaurant has to offer. I miss the 7 layer Cake though. Bring it back!

We love to dine here on Wednesday, half priced wine!!! We start with the cream of crab soup, which is to die for. There is so much crab! And then crab cakes...really lumps of crab meat, so sweet and delicious. Excellent service by Kate, who has taken care of us before and remembered our tastes. We had a table on the patio and it was perfect. A nice touch that the manager stopped by as well.

We were sitting outside. The waiter was very attentive, but I took off a star for him taking his time to bring me the salt shaker and, also, for not checking if the shaker was capable of dispensing salt. It wasn't. I had to unscrew the top and pour salt into my palm first, but I wasn't willing to wait longer for another salt shaker. I ordered Maryland crab soup. Did not like it because it was on the sweeter side. The filet mignon was excellent. The dessert selection was mediocre, so I wasn't tempted to get a dessert. Overall, the meal and the experience wasn't terrible, but nothing to write home about. In the future, I'll pick a different place in Boca.

Crab cakes are excellent Grouper was okay. Service was really good. Heads up that Restaurant was extremely noisy inside and outside on a Saturday night making it really difficult to converse.

I've dined here so many times (and several recently so I'm repeating). We love Loch Bar, especially the crab cakes. You'll never have any like this, I swear. The servers are all lovely and we never leave unsatisfied with anything.
