A majority of the menu was vegan, which was greatly appreciated! The staff was BEYOND friendly and informative! There is only 1 vegan protein, tofu, but he marinade was delicious. My one true critique would be that the sauce options could be more interesting.

The food was great I ate everything and I'm completely satisfied. There was only tofu, no other protein options for vegan diet. Otherwise I had the big mahana and added some things to it and made it a little pricey, no more than any of the other places really. Good atmosphere clean bathrooms, and they did a good job serving me. Definitely get some other options for a vegan diet for protein like maybe baked beans or hummus or something other than tofu. Thanks for the good food.

We got the bogo kids meals. 6 of them!We liked the whole mushrooms, Forbidden rice, sweet potatoes and sauces.It gave us a chance to try different foods!

We got Delivery here the other day, and I was pleasantly impressed.The portions were decent and the flavors mixed well together.They have an array of veggies to make your bowls and many base meats or vegetarian options too.I love that they offer kids bowls, my only grip is that $9 is a bit too much for a kids portion, especially when kids meals usually run around 5-6 bucks at the most in other places.Their sauces are amazing and tasty as well. I prefer it on the side as to decide how much to use, can overpower dish if you use too much.They did a Groupon offer this past month, and I grabbed that because I would reallyLike to actually go into the the boca location and order directly!Overall, def recommended for those who are on a healthy path and need a tastier and better option for any meal.

We have had a rough go with my daughter's allergies. The team at Mahana is ALWAYS accommodating and will even grill us a piece of fresh chicken if we call ahead (my daughter is severely allergic to egg, dairy, soy and garlic). As a restaurant manager of 15 years I am so incredibly thankful for what is pretty much our only option for eating out. Their management, line cooks and front of house staff are phenomenal and the food is extremely flavorful.

First time we ate here it was fairly good. Good enough to return anyway. Today was not good. Rudeness from the staff, I couldn’t do a half and half for the base (I didn’t want a double base and larger portion, but rather a small amount of two bases), the steak was almost empty and the portion given meant scraping the bottom and not giving a full amount, the key west chicken was blown out and dry and tough, green beans were not good, girlfriend didn’t like the cauliflower, just an overall bad experience.

3.11 out of 5. It is another Bolay type of concept to build your own slightly heathier lunch bowl. Feel like a copy of a copy where it reminds of the item you are copying but not quite as sharp as the original.

Great food, friendly staff. Four stars because I was still hungry after I ate. The portions are even too small for the bowl they used. It didn’t look like much food and it wasn’t.

Amended for the second time...Apparently, after my review stating that the owner was UNMASKED, the Manager, Jay, (She is THE definition of a Manager by the way), discussed the situation with the owner, and ever since he has been wearing a mask! I am so happy to report this as I really love this food!Her staff is excellent and she is on top of what is going on in this establishment, so I felt comfortable returning ?.I have to amend this review sadly.Yes it's true, BUT...I returned tonight for dinner, only to find a man behind the counter dishing out the food NOT WEARING A MASK!!!I knew then I would not be ordering anything but had to ask who he was and why he was the only person unmasked.Turns out his name is Gary and he is the OWNER! He said that there is no mask mandate and he chooses not to wear a mask. I said how can you do this around food especially with the raging VIRUS?He was not moved by my pleas.I told him that I would not be eating here anymore and that I would be posting a review but still he did not say he would be masked going forward.The best food I have eaten in a year since leaving Manhattan in NYC!!!But cannot likely eat here again.A healthy, clean, pure eating experience with personalized service tailored to individual food requests!A tossed salad bar type of restaurant where you choose your base, your veggies and your protein.All of the food looked amazing, but I need no salt, little oil, no spice and little protein and I was accommodated with a smile. New experience, it's basically Bolay in respects of thier offering and layout. Price is a little more but similar. The attendant was new and she didn't segment my bases and I couldn't tell if the Kale had dressing, the forbidden rice was ok. As I was waiting on fresh protein I was able to try them as they came outSteak was cooked perfectly juicy mediumBbq was good standardCaribbean chick (forgot the name) but it was spice yet goodWhat I didn't like was the citrus sauce for the chicken nor did I like the other sauces you get at the end. The sweetness threw me off. I don't think I'll return. There is a lot of competition near it that I enjoy that is similar

First off, the food here is incredible. I generally like to try out as many restaurants in an area as possible, as I love trying new things, but I find myself constantly coming back to Mahana. My wallet is lucky I don't live too close!The owner and staff are such pleasant people, which only helps make an A+ experience.This is easily one of my favorite restaurants, hands down, and that's saying something!
