There were six of us and we were promptly seated. Our waitress Lili greeted us and took drink orders. Each couple ordered a salad to share. They were ridiculously huge, one or two would have been more than enough for all of us. Lili should have suggested that three salads weee way too much. My shrimp marinara was bland, and aside from a couple of whole shrimps there were bits and pieces of cut up shrimp. There was at least one pound of pasta! My husband's chicken parmigiana was overcooked. We frequent Mario's every few months, especially when our family visits and have never complained about the food. Also, $3.75 for a small bottle of Diet Coke with no refill. What happened to the soda dispensers at the bars? Very disappointing for repeat customers.

We enjoyed dinner at Mario's. We were seated on time for our reservation. All of the staff were gracious and friendly. Our waiter was especially friendly and professional. We were served warm fresh garlic rolls when we sat down. I had a special dish they call Vesuvius snapper. It was great. My wife had eggplant Parmesan, which was more than she could eat and very tasty. My friend ordered the lasagna which was also very good and more than he could eat. To finish our meal we had dessert I have not seen often. It was like warm Zeppoli, but in pieces, with syrup on top. It was very delicious. Overall, we had a great time.

I usually don't leave reviews but felt compelled to do so this time. I've been here before and food has always been good and service is decent. This time the food was not good. The gluten free bread points Were burnt. I complained and told them to take off the bill. They did so, fine. I ordered seabass special which is normally delicious, this time the underside was ice cold and raw. I sent it back to get a new one, which tasted fine. I expected them to take that off the bill as well or at least give us something for free. They did not and barely apologized. Needless to say, we won't be back.

I would definitely go for happy hour at the bar area. Great deals on nibbles, pizzas and drinks. The vibe is fun. It's loud but fun. We were a party of 5, so needed a table. Happy hour over for us. My entree was just ok. I ordered the seafood Mario. The shrimp was overcooked, the scallops didn't taste like scallops, I'm pretty sure it was a fish substitute masquerading as a scallop. The mussels and clams were fine. There wasn't much of a sauce and very few fresh tomatoes. Very bland. I expected a more appetizing dish for $34.00. Lesson learned.

Outstanding experience with great food and great service! The food was excellent as was the service. We were seated on time and the booth was large with plenty of room for 2 people. The portion sizes were large enough for us to bring some home. There was nothing that was lacking and we cannot wait to go back. My husband and myself are extremely picky and we cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about the entire experience at Mario's!!
