Just had lunch for the first time in quite a while at this Boca staple. Arrived and sat right away , waiter came to take order certainly canned rapport bordering on obnoxious. I had a sandwich wife had a salad. Salad was meh sandwich tasted great until I found a large piece of plastic in the sandwich. They took it away came back 5 minutes later asked if I wanted it remade, kind of lost my appetite. They assured me it would be taken off our bill and it was (least they vould do, right ? Least) . Pretty amateurish experience overall and certainly felt that the situation could have been handled with more empathy and grace. Oh the waiter offered a desert which we politely declined. Not what I remember Max's to be.
Update: So as you can see management responded below, and I sent an e-mail and received no response. giving them the benefit of doubt, I sent a follow-up thinking maybe they missed it, again no resonse. Pretty solid reflection of how they view customer service.

Outstanding Experience at Max’s Grill! What a fantastic visit to Max’s Grill in Boca Raton! From the moment I arrived, manager Kyle greeted me warmly and opened the door—such a nice personal touch. The service was impressively fast. Jill brought out our cappuccinos quicker than Starbucks! The staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The desserts were absolutely spectacular and HUGE! The crème brûlée was to die for, and the Oreo pumpkin cheesecake was amazing. Both portions were generous enough to share (if you want to!). Great atmosphere with wonderful music, generous portions, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend Max’s Grill—I’ll definitely be back!

Was walking around Mizner Park and stopped here for dinner. Easily got 2 seats at the bar. It’s so nice when it’s not season and you can get seated without a reservation. Dinner was very good. Max’s has always been consistent but now that it’s owned by Kaluz, it’s stepped up a bit. Service is always good and it’s just a nice trendy vibe.

2nd Review A friend and I went to an early dinner here after my hernia surgery. We ordered off of the Happy Hour menu. We both got the cheeseburger, but my friend also ordered the pork slider and the taco. And he ordered another cheeseburger 🍔 and the truffle fries to go to bring to his girlfriend. Fabulous happy hour prices. Great atmosphere too. The waitress was wonderful. I love Max's Grill. It's always packed so I'm guessing everyone loves it too!
1st Review I popped into Max's Grill with a good friend for their Happy Hour. The place is festive and was the bar was packed. We chose inside because it was steamy outside. My friend enjoyed a Caesar's salad with blackened shrimp, and I had the $10 HH cheeseburger. The burger was juicy and delicious ! We will be back here for both the atmosphere and the fun HH menu !

I have been in lots of restaurants but this one exceeded my expectation in every way. All the drinks, food and service were amazing and our waiter CESAR made it perfect for us in every way. Anything you order here is amazing and you can’t miss the unique creme burle that was beyond perfect.

Had an amazing time for my wedding anniversary here. We decided to go for seafood appetizers and entrees, and the grouper and branzino were cooked to perfection. Drinks were awesome and the Gooey Butter Cake was fantastic! It easily serves 3 to 4 people. They typically have live musical talent on weekend nights. The overall ambience and service is top notch.

Max grille is not the same new owners took over and got rid of the box lunch half sandwich really dumb food is very overpriced. Won’t b back. And the waiter or waitress get mad if they don’t like the tip u give them. Good luck 👍. Emailed 2 times never heard back. This guy tells u to email him back, he doesn’t even get back to u if u do. Look why don’t u sell this place back to the original owners when the food was better. What a response back, obviously can’t explain why he never responded back to my email months ago. I’ve been coming to max grille for many years never a problem till u guys came. I knew ppl here. Now it’s not good. U got rid of the lunch box menu which was good. I’m not the only 1 who had a complaint here. I Won’t b back.
