Been a long time supporter of this place due to the fact the food is good and authentic which is rare to find. Have noticed a steady decline over the years in service and quality. Last night my family and I ate there and the restaurant was empty, we had it to ourselves, we kept noticing gnats flying all over the place which should have been the first red flag, we must have killed at least a dozen while there. It made the meal less enjoyable, it wasn’t until we finished the meal and had to wash up that the horrors of this place were unveiled… as soon as you entered the men’s room you’re hit with an ungodly stench, the foulest smell I’ve had the displeasure of ever being around and that’s coming from a diehard fisherman who’s been around days old rotting bait baking in the sun… my 7 year old had to cover his nose with his shirt and I was gagging the entire time in there as I helped him wash his hands with just water since there was no soap available at all. It also makes you wonder if the employees are properly sanitized while handling your food. We ran out of there as fast as we could and what leftovers we had went straight into the trashcan outside. Once home I had to throw up what ever contents of the food I had left since I had become evidently ill from the smell alone. My family has sworn off Indian food all together now unless it’s homemade. We hate to stereotype but poor hygiene is a common theme with Indian restaurants and unfortunately tonight, Maya delivered on that stereotype.

Before entering the windows were dirty.
Please give the waiter some hygienic lessons once we order the food and he came to set it on the table. All we smelled was his armpits..
We ordered tandoori chicken, which was cold from the inside and garlic nouns. Looks like they made the nun with Publix Dough.
I use the bathroom and went to wash my hands and the soap dispenser only had water with bubbles.
The quality of the food was horrible.

We’ve been loyal customers for many years, but the new management has been incredibly disappointing. I placed an order for pick-up and was told it would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived on time, only to be told it would take another 15-20 minutes. After waiting patiently outside, I checked again, and this time I was told they hadn’t even started on my order yet and I would have to wait another 35-40 minutes. To make matters worse, the restaurant was almost empty, with only two small tables occupied. This level of disorganization and lack of respect for customers’ time is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with no desire to return.

Ordered Biriyani, it was smelling of some kind of chemical. Horrible, threw it right after first bite.

I ordered Kadai Paneer and they gave me Paneer with orange curry which is usually used in Paneer masala added with Onion and Green peppers. Taste was average since it wasn’t made to its actual recipe. Dont recommend this restaurant.

Is this restaurant under new management? My friends ate here a month ago and could not stop raving about it. Last night (Friday) we ate there and we were the only people in the restaurant. The wait staff was new and knew nothing about menu or food. Tandoori chicken wasn't served on a hot platter, Raisa was good, Onion Chutney tasted like onions and Catsup and Lamb Vindaloo wasn't really a Vindaloo.
Just curious if anyone knows whether its the same chefs, management???
The reviews a month ago does reflect what our friends said when they ate there month ago...
Very Confused?

As my first time trying authentic Indian food, this has raise my standards as what I would considered good quality food. Unlike other restaurants they use plastic containers for their to-go option, the naan was wrapped in tin-foil to keep it relatively warm, and the manager Richard help me picked out the best options on what to get as a first time customer. One thing I will say is that I found that there wasn't enough naan for me to finish my entire to-go plate, but as overall with just the rice, and chicken curry it tasted immaculate. From the time I've written this review I was only able to finish one of the two plates I've order. The portion size is good relative to the price. As for spice level I would give it a relative 6/10 due to only trying a more savory plate first. I would love if they added an extra naan even if it did cost an extra dollar. Overall my experience ordering to-go from this place was 10/10 with customer service, food, and packaging experience.

Food was delicious, and the staff were so kind and helpful with our table. The restaurant is beautiful as well and has a modern touch in decor. Will come again. We got the chicken cafreal (I believe) and paneer khurchan. So delicious! However the star of our meal was the rosemary naan. Very unique and complemented our dish on a whole other level.
