Definite decline from excellent to good in food. Paid an up charge for spinach and had mash potatoes as a result of not have mixed vegetables or baked potato as stated on the menu. Server appeared annoyed when questioned why spinach was not packed with leftover food especially since there was an up charge. Despite the server having an attitude, we left a 20% tip.

Overall the restaurant still lived up to its long standing resilience. The biscuits were smaller than I remembered but still worth going for. My salad greens were fresh and crisp. I will definitely go back again.

We love the grill! We get the same server every time, Corey and he is absolutely the best server. Very friendly helpful and makes great suggestions. The food is wonderful also. My husband loves the burgers cause they're huge and delicious. I love everything!!! It's a neighborhood gem!

Hannah was an excellent server. She's my favorite. We had the special....grouper. It was just ok, not great. It was a bit dry and maybe overcooked. But, overall I enjoy this restaurant.

The biscuits are wonderful! My fish was done well. The Grille is a casual dining experience-no need to dress fancy. We were seated in a timely manner and our waitress was at our table to take orders right away. She was very friendly and efficient.
Excellent customer service and customer the food was excellent. There was 4 people and everyone went home full!!!

I've been to The Grille on Congress many times. It was an early evening booking on a religious holiday so the restaurant was uncharacteristically empty and quiet, but that suited us on this occasion. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The freshly baked biscuits served at the table were amazing as usual. My husband and I couldn't decide which steaks to order so we ordered a filet mignon and a sirloin strip and shared them. The sirloin was the better choice; juicier and more flavorful. The roasted potatoes and steamed broccoli and cauliflower let the meals down in my opinion, in texture and flavor. The crispy onion straws were very good. We did not have dessert. My decaf cappuccino was excellent, but a small biscotti or chocolate would not have gone amiss. *BTW, there is a large bar but there is no beer on tap, just bottled.

Worse meal I have ever had at a restuarant. It was to be chicken picatta but rubbery and overdone, very little sauce, literally 5 capers. Salad, that cost extra, was iceberg lettuce and 4 tiny pieces of tomato and nothing else. Will never go back and would not recommend to anyone! Extremely dissappointed.

The biscuits that we loved are now like sweet cornbread. The table for 6 was squeezed into a corner, making seating very tight. The Caesar salad was drowning in thick, creamy dressing. The swordfish piccata was fresh and delicious. The duck was good, but the accompanying vegetables were undercooked. They couldn't even be cut with a knife and fork.  The staff who cleared the table couldn't reach to get any of the plates, so we had to pass them across because the seating was so tight. That wasn't a problem, but it just wasn't very nice to pop our dishes into the dirty basin.  Our server, was very friendly and tried very hard. He was a little overwhelmed because apparently the restaurant might've been understaffed.
