This was my first (and last) time trying this place. My Maine lobster roll looked nothing like the photos from a while back. The new owner has switched to something that vaguely resembles lobster, just some mashed, unrecognizable fish (maybe lobster?) with an occasional piece of feeler meat! Flavor is nothing at all like lobster and has a distinct chemical taste. I took one bite and threw out the rest. The solo employee, on this her 2nd day, was trying hard, but really had little idea of what she was doing. It was an exercise in patience with zero reward at the end.

My wife and I couldn’t wait for this store in Boca Raton to reopen. The prior owners were great and always available. We used to get the Connecticut lobster roll. It was always completely filled with large chunks of lobster.
When we went to this same store once reopened we order the same. However, it was half filled up and the same price. If you look at their website the lobster rolls are completely filled up with succulent lobster.
I would be very hesitant in buying lobster rolls from this store.
Today(October 2024) Saturday we tried to order lobster one more time from the Boca Raton store. My wife ordered on their website which specified that they were open. We ordered the same type of lobster rolls we did about a month ago, we specified that we would pick them up at 6:00pm. It takes 30 minutes to get there. When we arrived the store was closed. My wife called the Ft. Lauderdale store which also own the Boca store. The manager told us that it should be open and did not know what happened. We paid by credit card and wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t go through. He said that he would call us tomorrow. What poor service and incompetence. You would be crazy if you ordered from them. Will follow up with you all.

Used to be good, under previous owner. Lobster is dry and barely enough on the roll.
Steer clear of Mystic Lobster.
Corporate should check into this Franchise.

Shame on you! What a horrible waste of money, I would have rather eaten a cup of ramen. Almost $100 on two "Monster" lobster rolls that were all old, tasteless, nasty claw meat. The claws were the size of my pinky finger. The employee who sold us this garbage flat out lied on the size of the "roll." This place is a joke, never go in there.

got 3 rolls with Bisque. Was charged $86.77 including a $3.34 for using cc. Very little lobster, didn"t even fill the roll. The meat was dry and cold. It was either very old or just thawed. a very expensive disappointment !!!

Tiny lobster rolls, not as advertised and it seems to be a recent change based on what I’m reading in other recent reviews (October 2024).

Food: if you get a lobster roll, you’re basically paying $25 for a small appetizer. If that’s all you’re expecting, you might not be so disappointed. But based on the photos I saw and the reviews I read (now I realize those are old reviews) I was really excited to get one of these huge succulent lobster rolls. What I got was small and disappointing. Pictured for reference.

Service: super nice staff, I felt bad leaving a review like this because the people working there were nice.

Also… it was a busy Friday night, lots of people out and about. I was the only person in this establishment. I feel like that should have told me something.

Had fantastic Maine and Connecticut rolls! The place is at a convenient location by the beach. The staff was friendly and we had a fun conversation with the owner. Would definitely come back!

Im here on vacation and decided to get the Connecticut and wow, wow, wow… it did not disappoint. Wish I lived in the area simply because of this spot! This is a must have!
