As a snowbird who returned to boca for a brief trip before return for the winter it was great to get back to our favorite Florida restaurant. New York prime has it all-outstanding food, immaculate service and an energetic vibe with live musicians who know how to play the perfect music. We love this place.

First time we have had her as a server and she was on top of everything and went above and beyond. music was great with Donny on keyboards and Jim of course made the best drinks as usual really a great time with some new people at New York prime, who were so impressed with the servers, ambience and the food. good job, New York Prime

NY Prime is one of my absolute favorite steakhouses for so many reasons. It's all in the name- Prime- their steaks are all Prime grade and always cooked exactly right. They are the only place ni South Florida that gets that char right and maintains the steak's tenderness. Their lump crab and baked shrimp are delicious! The food is consistent and you can't order wrong. The service is top notch; they are so friendly and professional. They truly go the extra mile and with a smile. The bar is a lot of fun as well, we love eating there and enjoying the live music. What used to be a special occasion restaurant, I find myself there more often now as I appreciate every aspect of NY Prime...

Grazie! New York Prime continues to be my favorite destination for great dining. We are always taken care of beautifully. This time, Mr. Bryan oversaw our experience, including offering the suggestion to try the fried lobster tail, which was a revelation! In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the restaurant has a special martini that features peach vodka that was quite tasty. In addition to the lobster, we had our usual bone-in perfectly medium-rare ribeyes, along with creamed spinach, hash browns Lyonnaise and my go-to side, fettuccine Alfredo. Dessert was the understandably popular butter cake with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries. Obviously, we had plenty of take home: leftover ribeye is not to be passed up! We even received a quick greeting from the man himself, Mr. Gio, who was present from day one of New York Prime. His stories are not to be missed!

I love NYP it's the best steakhouse. Amazing food, amazing service. Best side dishes, you need to get cheesy smashed potatoes, sautéed onions, creamed spinach. For dessert you must get the chocolate cake and Butter cake.

Terrific food. Excellent service. Nice buzz in the room. The bread basket is yummy. The flatbreads are addictive. Great salads. The steak is the best in the South. It's actually as good as the best Manhattan steak houses. The only place to go for an amazing steak meal.

Had high hopes was really excited as a friend said it was the best in Boca. Steak was extremely fatty, sides were sub par. Broccolini was over cooked. Martini was excellent. Cake was dry.

Best lobster I’ve ever had! My husband and I came in Saturday night for dinner. It was a bit loud when we came in but the hostesses were nice enough to give us a table further back which we appreciated. The music was great though. Kevin was a STELLAR waiter. He was happy, kind, patient, excited about the food and just a pleasure. The crab cake, baked garlic shrimp and lobster were FLAVOR CITY!!!! I used to frequent the Palm in nyc and so happy we found this place. My husband was really happy with his porter house. The mushrooms were great. The only thing that was just ok was the cream of spinach, but still good. Kevin won our hearts and the food won our bellies… we’ll be back soon

Staff was friendly and great, the Atmosphere was nice too! However, the food was underwhelming and extremely disappointing. Staring with that appetizer, the carpaccio was incredible, beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately the main course was extremely short of high class/fine dining in Boca. Center cut filet was cooked as I had ordered it however it came out sitting in a pool of butter and grease, for nearly $80 the steak should speak for itself in flavor and taste, it shouldn’t need steak sauce or a pool of butter to make it edible. The sides were
a la carte so we had to try the cheddar mashed potatoes and the steak fries. Steak fries were great. Cheddar mash potatoes tasted like they were instant potatoes. I had some of my family to dinner and everyone agreed the mashed potatoes tasted like boxed instant potatoes. No self respecting fine dining restaurant should make anything that even remotely tastes like it comes out of a box. In total the bill was nearly $400 I have no problem spending a lot of money for myself and my family to have a wonderful meal. But, for the price and for what you get served for that price, I would recommend going to nearly any other steakhouse the surrounding area than here. Very disappointing.

Super food from appetizers (bacon, carpaccio), veal chop, red snapper, filet excellent. Service ok, not great. Server was very nice, but with the crowd she needed help that wasn't always there. Loud, vibrant environment. Will be back.

Fantastic experience as always. Only choice for my fiancé's birthday. We chose to sit at the bar & appreciate the fantastic hospitality from Jimbo. Wonderful wine, martinis, steak, salad, shrimp. Live music always a treat. Wonderful to see Nick, Managing Director. I need to find out where that incredible raisin bread is sourced too! 10-star experience for us.

It was absolutely amazing!!! Best dinner in Boca. We have tried all the nearby steakhouses, and everything at New York Prime was delicious and amazing. If you are looking for a good steakhouse in Boca Raton definitely try New York Prime!

Let me start by saying that this used to be my all-time favorite steakhouse (probably my favorite restaurant). I used to frequent the restaurant very often, as it was truly unrivaled.

However, since the pandemic, the quality of the food and service seems to have taken a considerable dive. This is an honest review from an honest young local of Boca:

On one occasion, my family of five's food arrived 2 hours late (no, it's not an exaggeration, and yes, I waited that amount of time). Stuff happens, I get it, but 2 hours was a little overkill.

I want to focus specifically that on several occasions (around 5 times), food was served pretty cold. Room-temperature cold. All plates. The whole family. It had been so frequent, that my family and I would sadly no longer frequent the restaurant as much as we did.

It's still an excellent place to dinr, but I would tell the staff at NYP (if they're reading this) to please focus on the detail when the food is ready to be served.

Thank you,

I ordered a beautiful bone-in ribeye. It was delicious. I asked the waitress to box it up for me along with our leftover dessert. She came back with a bag and foolish me, I did not look in the bag, and when I got home, I only got the dessert. I don't know what they did with my steak. ?‍♂️

After 25 years of NYP, this was the first ever where we were disappointed. The lighting has gotten so dark the last few visits that you must use your phone so you have phone glare beams everywhere . The service, although he was so apologetic, was awful, with food coming it at different times and no one eating together. Let's pull it back a notch, guys....you were always the best food ...,don't blow it .
