Food was fabulous. Steak melts in your mouth. Service from our waiter was second to none!! Table was not adequate for a party of 6. To tight shoved into a half moon style booth. As the restaurant filled it got very loud. My Apple Watch gave me a high noise warning multiple times meaning the decibels level was above 90.

JAMIE. Our expert server made our experience extremely pleasurable! He's a pro. We love the food at NY Prime and have been going for years. It's way too crowded and too many tables. get a booth if you can.
Perfection every time! We had shrimp cocktails ( firm, large beauty's with perfect sauces) steaks and rib eyes, salmon with mushrooms, asparagus, spinach, cheesy potatoes, etc Service was fantastic I Water person who cleaned off dishes was very attentive with a great personality.

Our server Danielle was excellent. She was young but she knew her stuff. I ordered the 3 lb lobster and my wife had the sliced ribeye. The meat was done perfectly. She shelled my lobster so fast. It was incredible and I had just a pile of lobster meat on my plate. Fantastic! Make room for banana cream pie for dessert. It was spectacular. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back next year. This was a Christmas present. We were celebrating Christmas in March!
The food was very good. It was very loud. The price is very high, but nice experience. Too expensive to go very often, but will be back. there was a bit of a wait even though we had a reservation. I don't know if I've done 50 characters, but I have nothing more to say.

Awful .. the reservation was at 7 but we weren't seated until 7:45. The place was jammed with people waiting contrary to the fire code.. if you are going to make all those people wait .. at least offer them a free glass of wine ... And the hostess were basically bullshitting about how soon we would be seated. The food .. well the appetizer lump crab and stone crabs were good but lump crab comes from a can and stone crabs are in season .. the New York steak was low end and tasteless .. they say it's prime beef .. not a chance it was tough and I find it odd given the cost of prime today that it even could be prime .. the other steak was filet Oscar .. but the served it without the topping .. waited 10 to 15 min to bring out the topping which made the steak cold .. this a an amateur operation past its prime .. I've been to some of the best steakhouses in the world .. this rates as a 2 out of 10 maybe .. 1 out of 10 .. go anywhere else than here Post review note .. after I posted the review management did call and were concerned with my review and wanted to to know the circumstances .. they wanted to know how to make it right and were truly concerned .. everyone has an off night I guess .. all I can say is they did make it right .. hopefully the next time it will be within expectations
