This is our first time eating here, and we were immediately greeting when we walked in. We were told to sit anywhere we would like. The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of seating. The ambiance gives "family pizza shop." My daughter and I came during lunchtime. The bartender came to take our order, and she was straight to the point. Once our waitress came and introduced herself, she was extremely friendly. Our waitress was very attentive. Our food came out very fast, and our appetizers were very tasty. The garlic aoli sauce that was offered to me to do my crust was delicious! The large was way too big for us. We had so much pizza left over. The waitress wrapped the pizza up for us. Overall, we would say, great experience. We will definitely come back. Our bill was about $49 for two, not too bad with what we ordered.

This will be my second time actually visiting this restaurant. Being from New Haven, Connecticut, it was a place that was recommended to me for New Haven style pizza. I had, on my first visit, and amazing experience. The bartender was attentive, friendly, and just aware of what was going On.The second time around was the exact opposite. The food was delicious. The bartender was a mess. She wasn’t good at listening, not attentive, and generally didn’t even care that I was at the Bar because she had other people that she knew sitting at the bar she was giving more attention to.I will definitely come back to this place because the food is amazing but I will most Likely come on Mondays when the first bartender I encountered is there Because the bartender today was not it.

When I found this place.. it was a little piece of home and anyone and everyone from Connecticut knows little Italy in New Haven is one of the best of the best pizzas. I've lived in south fl for 3 years and not once has the service disappointed ! And the pizza is always delicious !! Whenever I think of pizza I think of Nicks because nowhere else can you get this type of quality. Robbie was our server and he was very attentive and hard working. Making sure our needs were met and everything was to our liking. For a busy night he did what every server should do keep the ambiance equal no matter how small or large the party.

Always really good pizza & great salads as well. Nice enough atmosphere inside. However, outdoor seating is not great. There is a cigar lounge next door & the smoke permeates the entire area & it can definitely be unpleasant. Service is usually very attentive. It can get very busy, & only then, is service a bit slow. I would say this is one of the better places for pizza in the area for sure.

I chose Nick’s New Haven Style Pizza because Dave Portnoy always raves that New Haven has the best pizza in the country in his opinion. So, as the menu says, the crust should be crispy and very thin. I also don’t mind a little char on the undercarriage but I am not expecting it to flop. Mine Flopped immediately and there was no crispness in the crust except for the edge. This is why I can’t give you the 5th star. (I’d like to but can’t based on this experience) As far as the sauce, it was very good and you use high quality ingredients. The pepperoni taste and finish was perfect. I hope you guys figure out the flop issue. Maybe a couple more minutes in the oven to get the humidity out for the crispness. I don’t know. I just want a great New Haven pizza (A-Beets).

I went there to get a chicken palm sandwich. It used to be a great big sandwich that was cut into two little sandwiches with hardly any chicken on it and it's probably a few dollars more than it used to be. I was very disappointed in the taste and the size and the girl that works there Was very young and very smart didn't realize that she had not even waited on me.

Sunday night. Got there just in time. By 6:45 PM every table was taken. Party of 4. We split two salads and two small pies and had left overs to take home. The pizza and salads were fine. What you should expect from a good pizzeria. Our server (Stephen) was exceptional. Despite running his tail off he was friendly, helpful and efficient. He was worth 5 stars. Noise level at 7:00 PM was loud, but conversation was possible. We shall return.
