RANT: Nothing Bundt Cake - Bad Business
I pre-ordered and paid for a two-tiered cake for my daughter’s Sweet 16 birthday party on Saturday, September 20th. We arrived at the Perkins Road location and the cake was not ready. There were no prior notifications given by the store so that I could make other preparations. There were no accommodations made for a replacement cake. You may want to seriously consider before making big purchases at Nothing Bundt Cake…Epic mistake for me. 🎂 Baton Rouge, LA

The cakes are dandy, but the staff has a bizarre policy of requiring customers to provide a phone number--even when placing a simple counter order to take with them. I gave mine once, and since then, I've been inundated with spam calls and texts. Without a loyalty program or clear reason for collecting this information, it's hard not to suspect that selling customer data may be part of their business model.

From out of town and staying in a hotel: ordered 3 bundlets and asked for forks. Girl tells me I have to order a party pack to get forks. WTH? Across the street at Gigi’s Cupcakes they have a utensil dispenser. Next time I’ll go there. #disappointed.

Sent my daughter a surprise cake to her office and it was delivered with a a happy Father's Day banner! How embarrassing and Father's Day was 4 weeks ago why do they even still have them in circulation! I'm mortified!

I visited Nothing Bundt Cakes on Glades Rd. to purchase a dozen Bundt cakes. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I paid with my Trump card, the staff member, Cristina C., changed her demeanor. She placed my receipt on top of the cake box and then abruptly walked to the back of the store immediately after seeing my credit card. Her attitude and lack of professionalism were very upsetting.
Regardless of political views, I believe all customers should be treated with respect and courtesy. This experience has left me very disappointed, and I do not plan to return to this location.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the attitude and service standards of their staff.
