Excellent food. Family run. Authentic. Where most places feel too commercialized and corporate, this is truly a gem.

Our favorite place in Boca Raton! My husband and I say this is a hidden gem and more people need to know about it! Kosta our waiter was kind! We ordered the octopus for appetizer and the branzino and lamb chops with veggies and Greek Villa salad, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS and fresh! The 1 star people complaining about food and “time” need to relax like what do you expect? it’s a family run business and I respect the hustle! Love this place and next time we are bringing our friends! Go here!

I ordered take out over the phone . I told the person that took my order that I had a gift certificate. When my son got there to pick up the food they said that you could only use the certificate for dine in only . It does not state that anywhere on the certificate. So my son just paid not wanting any conflict. I’ve never heard of that before anywhere. Not acceptable.

It’s a great authentic Greek food. Good taste, good service and friendly servers. Nice atmosphere. One problem they took a long time to serve the food.
Highly recommended

After dragging ourselves around in 95+ degree heat, lunch needed to be light, fast, and not smothered in melted cheese or regret. Casual Greek at OLIV PIT in Boca it was.

Rachel went with the spinach pie lunch special, which was upgraded with a beet salad and a side of tzatziki. The spiral-shaped spanakopita looked gorgeous—golden and crisp on the outside—but inside, it leaned more pastry than spinach, was undercooked and was underfilled. The beet salad was fresh and tangy with a little feta crumble, and the tzatziki had good herbal flavor. I mentioned to the owner on the way out that a traditional layered version might yield a better spinach-to-phyllo ratio and more consistent cooked result. She didn’t disagree.

Mom had the grilled chicken wrap with fries, which was fresh and well put together, though the heat and the day’s appointments had understandably dulled everyone’s appetite.

I ordered the keftedes (Greek meatball) wrap with a side of lemon potatoes, and it was the standout. The meatballs had great seasoning and texture, the tzatziki was properly garlicky, and the wrap was packed with fresh tomato, red onion, and herbs. The potatoes were soft, lemony, and generously dusted with oregano and parsley—classic, no notes.

Service was quick, portions satisfying, and the lunch specials are a solid value. Would definitely return—especially for those meatballs.

We ordered appetizers: spreads with pita.
The hummus was tasteless, the red pepper has all the way too much paprika, no pepper taste
The smoked eggplant was not smoked at all, it has only a hint of smoked paprika.
The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection.
The mixed grilled plate was plantiful and delicious, everything grilled to the right point.

Beautifully seasoned grilled mushrooms and grilled veggie wrap with a Fava bean/pea hummus. An exquisite falafel as well. There is a vegan lentil soup available as a special

Everything was good the food could use more seasoning and the meat was a little dry.

Lamb souvlaki so tuff. Sad grilled vegetables. Greek salad sitting in too much dressing too long. $20 for small portion mix of tzatziki, red pepper sauce & fava bean dip. Not enough pita w appetizer. Won't try this one again

We have tried this place a few times.
Service was never great. The food is okay.
Make sure you ask to try the wine before you order even a glass.
After I order one and said to the waitress that the wine is really bad, she said to me that she just opened the bottle so it's good and I can ordered another one but this one will be charged. We dine a lot, but I have never experienced something like this during all my dining. Will not be back.

I was excited to try Oliv Pit. Was not a busy night but the food took forever to come out. And the service was under para. Understandable there’s one cook but the food did not have the flavors expected. We ordered the village salad and it had a bland taste along with the trio dip and lemon potatoes. The lamb Slovakia was OK. Hoping it was off night.

I used to love this place, it was convenient and it felt authentic. The my family and I went on a Saturday night and forget it.... It will ruin it for you. They won't let you order a gyro or a pita wrap on a Friday or Saturday night, per the waitress. The physical menu has price changes and adjustments crossed out and rewritten in. The bill was COMPLETELY different than the menu. My dad did say that the burger was out of this world incredible. My last note is that service is painfully slow
