Stay away from this place! The food was inedible. My standards have come down a lot for finding decent Chinese food in Florida but this was not food. One bite of the sesame chicken and had to spit it out. Sauce was vile, no sesame seeds and what I ate was not chicken. Pad tie was awful. Even the rice was strange. Now when rice is questionable, there’s a problem. I don’t know how this place is in business.

I keep forgetting how bad the food is here. It would not last a week in NYC...

The worst Chinese takeout I have tried. Gave it multiple tries throughout two years but nothing got improved. Service is good but the food is almost unedible

Fastest delivery I ve ever seen. Any food I. Ever ordered what good quality and very hot. Portion size is very good as well.
Orange chicken very great
The is place is awesome. It’s really the small places that make the good food. And look at these portions man. Amazing ?. I’m not in the area often but when I am I stop by. And the owner is awesome. Recommend.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Lo Mein
Hot & Spicy Beef was very good, Mei Fun was kind of bland.
Chef was very friendly.
The spicing was more subtle than many places, the soup wasn't loaded with corn starch so it actually had a good consistency.
Definitely worth going again

The egg foo young here is incredible , the pork always comes out super crispy , more well done than other places , (a lil greasy , not so dry) chicken chow mein is also remarkable because they use the tops of the celery as opposed to just large random chunks. Also this place is going through very new remodeling .

This has been my Chinese food spot for about ten years and I ordered tonight not knowing that it was new owners… DO NOT ORDER. It was NOT good! Very very different, the chicken dishes were just all breading and the sauces tasted like they came from a jar. On top of that it was more expensive. Super disappointing! Anyone have a spot they love in the area?! This one is out !

I've been eating here since they were originally located in East Boca. This place has been my go to chinese until now. I'm not sure if the owners or management changed, but everything is different. The food is unseasoned, the general tso's tastes like sweet and sour, and the egg roll taste microwaved. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE STEAMED DUMPLINGS! I would only eat dumplings from here because they had a nice thick, authentic dumpling wrap, but now it's thin and floppy. Very unfortunate to see a place i grew up eating go down hill so quickly. ;'(

Restaurantji Recommends
That was our place since 2004. Now they sold :-( the food is not the same and the service either. I used to get a big container of veggie soup but no tofu and replaced with chicken, the guy on the phone said he couldn't do it. My husband meal was not the same either. Egg rolls, half the size. I asked for two egg rolls only got one and with extra duck sauce, had 2 sauces only! lol Now we have to find a new place.

I have been ordering from Orient house since the owner Amy bought it
And it has always been great and great personalities
Now 6/1/24 this place was sold ok I figured I would take a chance we’ll Amy always catered to the fact I cannot eat soy sauce and salt which I never had a problem
Anyhow I call and ask if new owner can accommodate me they said yes
I ordered jumbo shrimp and veggies with my usual pea pods
I got home it was terrible no pea pods no taste ? I called they said to come back they would fix it I drove back again and they handed me a bag and said they fixed it
I got home it was wrong again no pea pods white shrimp and full of celery I called again and told them the owner was oblivious he said drive back again I was disgusted and dumped it in my sink and took photos of it going into disposal
I went back for the third time and showed the owner with the dirty apron the pix and asked for him to credit my charge he refused because he did not believe the pictures and wanted the food back well you know the rest told him I will call Amex and reverse the payment he did not care about anything
Low grade shrimp and cheaper vegetables don’t think he will last long
I wish previous owner would come back

I do not usually leave bad reviews. We have been ordering from Orient House since the early 2000s. It was our go-to takeout Chinese restaurant. We would drive from where we lived to get the food, since delivery was not available. We received an email about new management and how now delivery is available. Excited, I proceeded to order dinner yesterday. Broccoli Beef, Cashew Chicken, Pad Thai and Hot & Sour Soup. Unfortunately none of it seemed to have seen any seasoning, except the soup. The soup was over seasoned and flavor was nothing compared to how it was served before. The beef and chicken were just bland. I called the restaurant and explained my situation and to give them the opportunity to make it right. The gentleman on the phone was absolutely unreceptive. It is sad, but after all these years they lost a very loyal customer. Based on my experience, we will no longer be ordering from this place. I am sure there are others with similar experiences. It really is a shame.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!
I called to make a delivery and they wrote down my cc number and charged my card twice! I called to tell them and they argued with me. I had to go to the actual restaurant to get my money back and they still made it difficult for me even when they realized they made a mistake. I won’t be ordering food from them again.

I lived in South Florida my whole life and have got to say this is got to be the worst tasting Chinese I’ve ever had here. It is tasteless and the most blandest food I think I have ever had. It is less comparable to a frozen Oriental TV dinner you get at a grocery store. The fried rice had absolutely no taste, the chicken teriyaki that I ordered was just horrible tasting. Not to mention the fried rice had no pork or egg in it and just some peas and carrots. It says nothing about vegetable fried rice on their menu either. I remember eating at this place in the past, I guess they have new owners because it didn’t taste like this in the past. Stay away, there are a lot better Chinese restaurants around town.
