They dress coded us for wearing shorts which did not show anything and the manager sized me up and down and it felt very uncomfortable that after we drove 20 minutes we would be treated this poorly. If you want to go to this establishment make sure you dress like a nun.

we were visiting friends and they took us to Piccolino's for dinner. It one of there favorites. Rite off the bat we were greated with a big hollow as if we were family. we started with a pizza appetizer just right for the four of us. I then ordered the ravioli filled with spinach and cheese, my wife ordered the eggplant rollotini appetizer for her main course (the waitress didnt understand initially how you could have an appetizer for a main corse, but it was more then enough) My friends order the veal franchisee. I could describe every dish but it enough to say everyhing was delicious. Had some house wines and topped it off with a glass of Lemonchello. And did i mention the prices were very reasonable.

For the Owner, Robert V. .... Agreed!! I'm not a food critic, BUT I DO love food, cook my own food and have been to MANY restaurants, in my life time, to be able, to post a TRUTHFUL comment about your food and establishment. Instead, of being upset.. take it as a CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. And no .... I was NOT advertising another business. It's just so happens, I was comparing your food to another establishment. Thank you !!

Piccolino is my favorite restaurant and I am never disappointed when I go there. We were a table of seven and we were treated like royalty. The food was fabulous as always. I only wish that I still live in south Florida so I could go back frequently. Roberto and Carmella are wonderful hosts and their staff members are equally gracious and accommodating.

Very disappointed as this restaurant had so many 5 star reviews. It is definitely an “in” Place with the manager/owner very interested in his regulars. He hugged almost every party that walked in. He approached Almost every table multiple times. He never came over to us. We were not availed the super hospitality so many have mentioned. The food - Caesar salad drenched in a mustard taste - could not eat it. The veal which was 2 pieces had one that was inedible because of grizzle and too thick. The sole as advertised was very delicious but not enough considering a return. If I were craving a “club” experience I would have gone to my club. The management clearly is creating such an experience. And this was my 2nd time here.

This is the second time we have been to Piccolino's restaurant. The owner is on site and is involved in all aspects of your dining experience. You are cordially greeted by him when you enter and seated and immediately given menus and a wine list. The food is exceptional and the portions are generous. All employees were polite and very attentive to our needs. This is not a knock off Italian restaurant like many in the area and the owner is Italian and the food is authentic. We enjoyed it so much and you are not rushed so they can turn over the table. No hype and loud music and there are no show ponies looking to be seen. Would highly recommend Piccolinos to anyone without reservation.

Nice little neighborhood restaurant tucked away on the side of the Fresh Market shopping center on Camino Real. The inside is in need of a face lift. It is a throwback to Italian restaurants of the past. The menu is typical southern Italian type fare with the requisite parmigiana, francese, marsala, and pasta dishes. There were a few specials, although nothing exciting. The service was outstanding and the owner was attentive. Overall, I would recommend it for a casual night out. Nothing fancy but the food was very good.

Our party of four had an excellent Saturday dinner at Piccolino. The owners and wait staff provided attentive, professional, but unobtrusive service. Our friends are non-drinkers, so my husband and I enjoyed Cabernet by the glass. Our friend was very pleased with meatball appetizer, a house specialty, and shrimp parmesan with side of pasta. His wife enjoyed eggplant rollatini appetizer, another house specialty, followed by shrimp scampi over linguine with garlic and oil. My husband and I liked sharing appetizers of Caesar salad, served with anchovies and eggplant rollatini. For entrees, my husband liked very much fresh mahi-mahi livornese with sauteed spinach. I ordered a house specialty, sole francaise, my favorite Piccolino entree, with delicious sauteed spinach. Our friends shared tiramisu as dessert. She is Italian-American and was impressed with all of Piccolino's excellent food and service. My husband ordered capuchino, always very hot and strong, as he likes it. I ordered regular hot coffee and asked for heated milk to add to it. We highly recommend Piccolino Italian Restaurant.

Best kept secret in SFLA….this is truly real Italian Food. Italian Chef from Napoli prepares the best Italian dishes in FLA. Stanly Tucci should come here instead of Flying to Italy! In addition service is excellent. If you want to experience an authentic Italian restaurant without traveling there, have dinner there…best Vodka sauce ever.

The owners, Roberto and Lenore are like a prince and princess!! the food is delicious. The service is fabulous and they always come to check to make sure everything is perfect. We return there at least once a month for dining and have brought many many friends. I would highly recommend this place for dinner.

Piccolino's Italian Restaurant provided excellent food, wine, and service on a recent Saturday night. Cabernet sauvignon was delicious. A signature appetizer. eggplant rollatini, had a perfect balance of eggplant, good cheese, and robust, well seasoned tomato sauce. It was not overcooked or undercooked. Similarly, our fish entrees came to us hot, fresh, and flavorful- - - mahi-mahi livornese had excellent seasoning, olives, onion, crushed tomato and hearty tomato sauce, while a house special, sole francaise, was delicately seasoned, moist, flavorful. We both had ordered sauteed green vegetable. Piccolino's provides a choice of side pasta or cooked vegetable. My husband's capuccino was excellent- - - very hot and delicious. My coffee was also excellent, very hot and nice and strong while not bitter. It is a special touch that Piccolino's provides hot milk to accompany coffee, keeping it hot. The owners are attentive to all of their customers. Wait staff refills water and provides excellent service. We highly recommend Piccolino's.

I am so happy that I found this neighborhood gem. Reminds me of the small Italian restaurants in Italy. Food was excellent. Profiteroles was a great dessert ending! We will be back for sure!

We just found our go to place for Italian food. Stop reading and just make a reservation now. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had the eggplant rolatuni, veal parm and spinach ravioli and ended with 2 cannolis. Every single item tasted great! Phenomenal jobs to the owners, so glad we found you.
