I'm really disappointed in my experience at Poke Jay. I suggested we eat here and brought 5 of my friends here. I ordered a build your own bowl which costs already $17. I asked for mango and seaweed salad and was never told about the up charge (but the customers behind me were told btw). I saw Maria put a huge scoop of mango thinking that was generous. Then I looked up and saw the up charges. In Miami they don't charge you for mango or seaweed salad so I didn't know. I told Maria can she please take them out since I didn't want to pay the up charge. She said don't worry about it, I'll hook you up. Maria rang up my bowl for $20 and I asked what happened and she said it was for the up charges, I said I didn't want to pay for the up charge please take them out, then she said don't worry about it and still charges me for the seaweed. I said can you please just take them out of my bowl. She finally took them out and half of my bowl was empty and sad looking. She asked if I want to replace it with something else. I got tomatoes that were not that great. Later after I ate my sad looking poke bowl, I saw a bowl on the menu for 10 cents more that had mango and seaweed in it. Instead of telling me about this bowl and helping me out, Maria only wanted to up charge me. Honestly I saw the good reviews and had high hopes for this place and even planned to return again if it was good but after this experience I won't be back again.

We met the owner once while ordering and have to say, he really knows his stuff. Hand crafted a unique bowl and threw in some chef knowledge that helped us pair ingredients in a way that was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond, asked us questions on our preferences, and even threw in some specialty ingredients. Make sure to get your fish seared, a tip he shared with us to get more flavor!Dietary restrictions: You can build your own bowl and select your own ingredients.

So freakin good!!! I got the unagi Don and my honey got the Nemo ironman than paired it with some teas. Amazing! The perfect lunch you don't have to feel guilty about and doesn't weigh you down afterwards. Nicole made our bowls and took so much time to connect with us, explain options, and how they prepare some of the items. This place will make you wanna stay on for dinner. Must try.

Randomly happened to stumble upon this place when in the area. Super cute spot, the most fresh and delicious Poké bowl. And the reason why I’m writing this review on top of it at all is because the owner was so welcoming, friendly, and created a bowl specifically to try. Being in the business and knowing how important it is to be welcoming and friendly, he exceeded the expectations. Everything was wonderful. Definitely will be back when in the area.

I used to love it here. My go to spot for years. However, something has changed. The portion sizes have gotten ridiculously small. Even I pay extra for more and it’s still small. Stop being so stingy and go back to how it used to be. Until then I won’t be back. However, the fish quality has stayed high!
