Principessa Ristorante is a beautiful spot inside the Boca Raton, with polished indoor seating and a stunning outdoor patio overlooking the marina and yachts. I’ve dined both inside and out, and the setting is impressive either way. Service was excellent; Alex took great care of us.

The food was good, though not quite on the level you’d expect from such a grand location. The grilled Spanish lobster 🦞 was the standout of the night, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Peroni on draft is always appreciated, and the salads topped with shaved parmigiana were fresh and well done. The grilled octopus 🐙 was flavorful but a bit too chewy.

The spicy pasta with rock shrimp 🍤 was the only real miss. It tasted like a spicy red sauce tossed over kid-style pasta with tiny shrimp. It didn’t match the elegance of the rest of the menu.

That said, the bread basket was very good, the fingerling potatoes were especially crispy and seasoned well, and the cappuccino at the end was smooth and satisfying.

Overall, it’s a lovely place with thoughtful service and a few standout dishes, but the food doesn’t always match the upscale feel. Go for the view and the lobster, and maybe skip the spicy pasta.

Absolutely overpriced and overrated. However it does set up that socioeconomic barrier separating the rich from the poor. 😉

My wife and family enjoyed a nice dinner with a waterfront view. The meals were great and atmosphere was relaxing.

I have been a member of The Boca Raton Club for a number of years. My dinner last night was not enjoyable.

They brought my girlfriend her appetizer but never brought mine until I asked for it 10 minutes after she was finished.

Then they brought my main course, but they never brought her main course until I asked for it. By the time they decided to cook her salmon, my steak was, of course, cold. And I'll get into the steak in a moment.

They were so screwed up.

It's so disappointing and embarrassing as well. I live 500 feet away on the grounds of The Boca Raton, and I can't even go to this restaurant again because it's just not good. They are rookies!! It isn't very comfortable.

PRINCIPESSA have a 3.9 rating at a five star hotel? Are you kidding me? I never go to a 3.9 rated restaurant. Ever! They should close this place up and start again. Get new management and fix it.

The ribeye steak looks like a minute steak. Terrible!

1000 feet away, Boca Raton has several fantastic five-star restaurants. If you are a tourist and staying at the hotel, go to a good restaurant. PRINCIPESSA isn't one of them, and I hate to say it. I really do. Just go to Palmetto Road and take your choice of wonderful restaurants.

And I have to say this again to the Boca Raton management. You are a five star hotel what the heck are you doing with a restaurant with a 3.9 rating in it? Below average. Below par. You'd actually have to look HARD to find a 3.9 restaurant in Boca Raton. Read the reviews here. A lot of them say the same things and you continue to ignore. Obviously The Boca Raton and PRINCIPESSA won't fix it because it keeps falling on deaf ears. Wake up! this is inexcusable in a five star resort! Open your eyes, please! I don't want you to fail, but I can never go to your restaurant again because you guys simply don’t care. What is your answer to having a 3.9 rating? Do you really think it's acceptable?

In Boca, you actually have to go out of your way to find a restaurant with that low rating. when are you gonna fix it? Do you ever expect me to come again? And just a footnote this is the second time that I've had a bad experience there. And then I didn't go there for another year or more hoping that it would be better. What an idiot I am!!

I really hate to put up a bad review. But you guys need to get your act together. There were 12 customers in the restaurant and they couldn't even serve us correctly? They couldn't even get the order right!

So the only thing I can do is post this to alert other people. Tell other people. And I'd rather tell them it was a wonderful experience, but I have no choice. other than to tell them it it was a horrible experience. And as you read other reviews, you will see that I am right on target and they just don't care.

i'm sure they could care less about this review just like they cared less about the other reviews because they never fixed anything. They just ignore.

Arguably one of the best restaurants at the Boca Resort. Not only does this place have some of the best food but it definitely has the best view in all of Boca Raton. Try and get a table outside overlooking Lake

We are staying at the Yacht Club at The Boca Raton. It took about a half hour for us to be seated despite having a reservation. The servers were doing their best to provide good service but were overwhelmed. I made the mistake of ordering the rib eye, which was the leanest, thinnest rib eye I have ever had so it was dry and didn't taste good. The prices were high for such ordinary food. There are much better restaurant options at the resort. I guess if you are getting pizza or pasta, it would be okay.

I thought I was going to have a good meal and experience.
Well, I was greatly disappointed with the lack of taste of the food. The Caesar salad and the meat balls were over salty. In contrary, the orichiette had no taste. Had to add lemon, cheese, salt and spicy oil to get close to something. The tomato sauce in veal parm and the seafood pasta tasted out of a jar. Service was Okay!, but when you have to poor your own wine…
For the price, go somewhere else.

Honestly the food wasn’t bad but what i couldn’t believe was being charged 14 dollars for OLIVES AND BREAD. imagine doing that in New York??? The waiter asked in the beginning if we wanted some bread. We said of course. Ended up not touching it - thought it was complimentary. If I knew it was 14 dollars I would’ve ate every bread and olive. It’s really just unreal to charge someone for that.

Hoity toity.

Not sure that I spelled correctly but this place is an Italian restaurant located in the boca resort. The boca resort is owned by Michael Dell ( yes, THAT Michael Dell) and is a private club in boca Raton Florida.

You need an invite to dine here ( unless you are a member of the club or hotel guest there).

The food was great. Glad I wasn’t paying.

The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us which was awesome. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating in such a beautiful setting.

Exceptional. Our party of 8 was seated outside as requested with a gorgeous view of the bay. Our servers, Nick and Eric, were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive to all our needs, which included 3 children in our party. The Cesar salad may be one of the best I’ve ever tried and the meatballs were tender and delicious. I had the pappardelle bolognese…my wife had the spicy scampi capellini. Both were excellent. The chocolate tart is a MUST have and the tiramisu parfait…UFFFF!!! Highly recommend when staying at The Boca Raton.

Kid-friendliness: High chair was provided as requested and the children’s food was brought out with the appetizers as well.

We had dinner on a Saturday night. We made a reservation ahead of time. Our server Lewis was nice and knowledgeable. The food came out in a timely manner. The portions were reasonable and filling. My wife enjoyed the spicy shrimp pasta. I enjoyed the rib eye. The potato side dish was unique. We like the ambiance of the restaurant but the hotel is impressive. You will need to find valet for this restaurant.
