We drove past the restaurant and it looked like it was closed. Please tell me that’s not the case! We’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Can someone share what’s going on? Is it relocating or planning to reopen? We’d really appreciate some closure. 😭

Hidden gem of Boca Raton.
This great little Mexican restaurant has a relatively limited menu, but in a good way: all the dishes are great and cared for versus trying to get every option on the menu without much effort towards quality.
Their salsa is very fresh (I personally add salt, but that’s my preference) and their salsa verde is wonderfully hot.
The fajitas are a must try (make sure to get loaded for the extra toppings), and with 2-4 extra tortillas (CORN!) can easily feed 3 people.
The spinach tostadas are a favorite meal for a few people I know, and all of the quesadillas are excellent.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but they’re not marked

This place is way past its prime. I used to come here a few times a week back in the day. Though the menu is the same, so, is the atmosphere.... I mean original everything from 20 years ago. It feels really dirty. Needs to be completely updated.
They also recently added a 5% credit card surcharge and added fees for an extra scoop of sauce on a burrito and a small cup (2 tablespoons) of extra salad dressing.
But the worst thing on our last visit was that the salsa they served us was obviously previously frozen. You can tell because it was kind of mushy. Who does that? They certainly never did that here before.
I'm afraid my days visiting here are over. 😞

Why were two fish taco platters and a quesadilla $92 plus tip so came out to $114 . That’s insane. I used to go to taco prince in mizner every day and was so stoked to hear the owners of Senor burrito were the same ppl. Unfortunately the prices are outrageous and I don’t plan on spending over $100 for 3 plates any time soon.
A little local joy!
Warm welcome and all smiles, quick ordering, healthy and pleasant food, nice atmosphere, and generous proportions, which meant that we ate really well, ordering 2 dishes for 3 people.

Hidden Gem! Best chips and salsa I’ve ever had. I’ve tried many things here and everything on the menu is spectacular. I always get a burrito and it’s enough to have another meal the next day. I sadly don’t live in Boca anymore but when we visit, Senor Burrito is always the first stop.
