Last week I had food delivered from this restaurant, and I thought it was very good. Tonight I went to the restaurant, but before I checked the reviews and they were mixed. Well, I found the food to be quite good and the service was excellent. The waiter was very polite and efficient and the food came out very fast. I had the moo shu chicken which I thought was excellent, the steamed dumplings were tasty, but nothing special and the wonton some soup was good. The teriyaki beef on a stick was tasty, but the meat was a little tough. The Mei Fun noodles with chicken was very good. Actually, the chicken in both dishes was so tender like ve It was nice to know that this place also has dim sum in the day, which I can’t wait to try.

Always a good experience at 818. Love their Cantonese steamed food… it’s not on the cart like in NY Chinatown but same taste. The only complain I have is they alway no rice rolls which is in the menu but never available to buy.

First visit here around 1pm on Saturday, which I expected to be somewhat busy but there were only 2 tables. If you didn't know about the hot pot place next door, then you may not have known about this. You can't see these restaurants from the main road so it's easy to miss, but there are plenty of parking space that you can do donuts.
It offers a good variety of dim sum and other Chinese dishes too from the menu; it's not the traditional push cart. We ordered 9 items but I think 4 out of 9 were good and the rest were either too much of an ingredient or too little. The prices were about $1 more or equal to another dim sum restaurant, but it is what it is nowadays : l
Service was great and friendly aunties, so it made the visit even better. If you're in the area or don't live far from Boca, it would be nice to visit.

We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant and we have found it! This place is great, everything we ordered was delicious! Great food, ambience and service! This will be our go to for good Chinese cuisine!
Very disappointed with my takeout order from Shanghai Chinese Restaurant in West Boca Raton. • The food arrived cold. • You have to pay extra for duck sauce and mustard, and both were watered down. • The portions were extremely small for the price.
Overall, this was a letdown and not the quality I expected.
