Since moving to Boca 4 years ago I've been searching for first class sushi. After trying so many places I have finally found the best sushi. We were skeptical until the first few bites, then we were "hooked". Our hostess was sweet and helpful; although we are not Oriental she treated us like family. The Japanese chef was busy with orders, and if you look at the photos you can tell he has style, flair, and killer knife skills. I could see my wife through the onion slices, his cucumber spirals are a work of art, and so much more. But like I mentioned before, the flavors, authenticity, and detail, were REAL GOOD all around. We went to sushi Kyu not expecting much, but willing to try, considering some of the reviews we saw. But when we got there and sat down we were so happy. The lady was so nice to us! The older gentleman was the chef and we didn't see him much, but his sushi was as good as, or even better than the best sushi I have tried. That is saying alot, because I have had sushi in some very expensive places. We were super charmed and we will be back soon!

I visited Sushi Kyu, a sushi restaurant, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! Every bite felt like a journey to Japan. The flavors were so authentic and perfectly balanced, as if they were crafted with the utmost care. From the fresh sashimi to the perfectly rolled sushi, everything tasted incredible. The atmosphere also added to the experience—it felt truly Japanese, making the meal even more memorable. I can’t wait to return!
The attention, patience, and care they treat their customers is top notch! We had 3 adults and 2 kids eating in on a Sunday at noon. We were the only people there at that time. They have 1 child’s seat for our 6 month old to use. The lady serving us was so kind to our 5 year old who asked for paper to color on. She found her a notepad and pen to use. Food was excellent. Edamame was salted perfectly and 4 piece pork gyoza hit the spot. We ordered 4 rolls. Dragon, spicy tuna, rainbow and sushi kyu. Sushi kyu was my favorite. The rolls held together so well. Nothing fell apart when eating. Spicy tuna had a nice kick! Only minor complaint is the rolls with cream cheese have a little too much cream cheese for me. I would definitely eat here again! Located in a shopping area with lots of parking. It’s also walking distance from the train stop. Thank you for the excellent service.

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt genuinely welcomed. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service immediately set the tone for an incredible dining experience. Though the restaurant is small, it’s truly a hidden gem worth every visit.
I made a special request to have wasabi placed inside my sushi roll so I could savor it in every bite. Not only did they accommodate my request with a smile, but the sushi itself was absolutely amazing—perfectly fresh and flavorful.

Boca Raton prices (about $1-2 more per roll than what we're used to paying) but worth the splurge for such good quality. This is not your momma's dried out Publix sushi. Bento box is a good deal. Seating is very limited inside, but some seating available outside

I ate sushi all around Palm Beach County and Miami, but this is the most authentic place with some dishes that only can have in Japan and here. The Japanese street food Takoyaki (rice dought ball with octopus inside) is delicious. Taiyaki The pancake with fish shape filled with red bean jam. The bento is my son preferred to go like a every Japanese kids lunch box. The place is American but definitely a place to try I promise you will like it.
