Our go to place for Korean food on the east side. I always get the Bibinbap (sp?) in a stone bowl. It's a combination carrots and some other veggies, that wonderful Korean rice an egg sunny side up and a meat. I prefer Bulgogi meat. Because it is done in an iron bowl the bottom rice is crunchy. Remember to get the egg yolk mixed in to cook completely because raw yolk is no safe.
There is free parking in back.

I went last night with a group of friends, the food was pretty good for me. But the two waitresses were very disrespectful. A couple of my friends are clearly hispanic and completely heard (including me) the waitresses making disrespectful, rude and insulting comments about all of us thinking at least a few of us wouldn’t understand, which was a mistake. It lasted all night and honestly ruined our night together. The food was good but the service and the mess ups with all our bills (didn’t ask if we wanted to pay separately) was not, and one of our friends food came so late she was the only one eating by the time everyone finished.

I was having dinner there and the place felt very judgmental, i received a dirty look from one of the waiters and i can understand maybe they weren’t in the best mood at the time but they were also very careless with all me and my friends orders and combined all our bills together without asking and seemed to get annoyed when we asked for it to be separate. I payed for my food and the waitress forgot to add something else i got, so when the bill was already payed for and i left to walk back home, my friend had to call me to come back just because they forgot. The food was great but the service was just not okay.

Authentic Korean food! Nice for a quick lunch or dinner. They have Korean BBQ grill outside
We got Bibimbap bulgogi and kimchi bowl. It was delicious and they all give a free korean yogurt drink after you pay
They have nice Korean pop play list playing in the background

First time client and we both loved it. The food is so fresh and flavorful. I loved my squid plate and the aloe vera noodle ban chan. My husband loved the fishcake ban chan, green onion pancake and fried chicken. Will definitely have to return to try more items.

Food was mediocre at best and for the price I definitely expected something far better. The service was pretty bad too. Would not recommend. There are far better places in the same price range.

ABSOLUTELY NOT a 4.6 restaurant, no way.
At best, food was mediocre (and Im being generous). Kimchi fries are a joke, lil meat provided & the kimchi was overly sour, probably just not fresh. The meat provided for the self BBQ was really minimal and very fatty with no flavor. Sides were sides, basic and decent
Service was A+. Dominican waitress was quick and attentive.
Outdoor seating was a nice benefit, we enjoyed this aspect of the restaurant.
Would not return

Tacowa (Boca Raton, Palmetto Park Road near Mizner), Opened 2018.
Time to cross this one off the list. Cute little Korean spot — no lunch specials, but some all-day options that work for mid-day eats, like Korean tacos (an LA import) and rice/greens bowls.
Rachel tried two tacos:
•Spicy Pork – solid flavor.
•Yangyum Chicken – fried chunks in a sweet/“spicy” gochujang glaze. Not really spicy, more sweet-leaning.
I went for the Spicy Pork Red Bowl (pork bulgogi over greens + rice). It’s described on the menu with a sriracha “yum yum” mayo on top — I wasn’t paying attention, so that’s on me. I really don’t like that sauce, so I asked them to remake it without, which they did without hesitation. Just a heads-up for others who might feel the same way.
Banchan spread was a nice surprise: fish cakes, cucumber kimchi, napa kimchi, spicy horseradish noodle salad, bean sprouts, and marinated onions.
Verdict: good first run. Will be back to explore more of the menu.

The food was amazing and authentic. The owner is a very nice man who takes pride in his beautiful restaurant. When I'm in Boca I will visit again! Can't wait to eat their bibimbap again. It was an absolute treat.

This is the best Korean food I've ever had in South Florida. I put it up against any spot in NYC or LA. I said what I said!
The service was amazing. The waiter was attentive and the owner even came out to ask me what my experience was like. hope to be back very soon.

Deliciously made kimchi. The kimchi fries were incredibly tasty full of flavor, the potatoes were crispy and the melted cheese was not overwhelming just the right amount. The bibimbap was the star of the night with all of the different flavors of sides sautéed onions, cucumber salad, fried tofu, kimchi, fried egg, rice, cabbage, bean sprouts all bursting with flavor. Will definitely be coming back.

Food was okay. Got upset because they rushed us out saying kitchen is closed 9:40pm without saying last call. Its their lost because they lost on our money. Also, barely checked in on us and we had to request utensils. They also charged extra for gas on for korean bbq tabletop- not listed or shared earlier. Who does that meal listed on their menu. Not worth it.
