The was a wonderful experience for lunch. I wanted to take my daughter for this amazing experience but not do a full dinner portion. There was A LOT of food and we were stuffed by the time we left. It was all very fresh and delicious. We tried new nigiri that were amazing. We were delighted to have the opportunity to taste these new flavors with beautiful craftsmanship and freshness. Probably the only things I could see to improve was that we were put in the corner even though there was only one other couple there. Thus, my view was behind the bar and not that "pretty". It was clean, but I would prefer to be seated at the regular bar area to have a nice experience looking at the chef prepare and not "behind the scenes". Also, the corner was right next to the water feature, and I could hardly hear the chef explain anything. That took away from the overall. The last thing was the artistry of the food. Maybe it was because we went for lunch? But other Omakase experiences, the chef turned the sushi into art with various toppings and other ways to excite the eyes as well as the palette. Here at Taki, the sushi was done perfectly, but it was just the rice, fish and sauce, not much else. However, one could say that there is nothing else needed with a delicious piece of nigiri... I'm only comparing it to another Omakase that I personally preferred. Overall, it was a perfect lunch place for this type of experience.
Everything was great..... really appreciate your summer special of $150.00 on select days.
This is some of the best sushi that we've had outside of Japan and even in some cases it's on par with that The service is impeccable. This is a truly elevated Omakase experience !
Amazing omakase lunch! Great value for the splurge, the fish was flown in from Japan and perfectly prepared. One of the best omakase experiences I've had, ambiance inside the restaurant was lovely despite the odd location in a strip mall.
My go to for Omakase. They dry aged their fish which gives it a buttery texture. Dinner portions are great if you're hungry and lunch is a good value.
The fish was top quality and properly dry-aged. Overall, the food was excellent, and the service was solid. That said, for $200, I expected more variety. I was especially surprised we didn't get any wagyu. Great ingredients and execution, but the experience didn't justify the price compared to other omakases in Miami.
This was the 5th time I have been for lunch. All previous reviews I have given were 5 stars. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for this time. There were only 3 of us for lunch. I have never seen it so empty. The sushi chef did not have the asian flare that I am accustomed to and the music was blaring with rock music. I had to ask the waitress to lower the music twice - it was not at all appropriate with this type of experience. There was nothing special - no tasty garnishes atop the sushi. The rice was a little too wet so some of the rice fell on the plate. This was not a Taki Omakase experience that I was used to.
This our second time to Raki Omakase & it does not disappoint! The quality & service is exceptional! It compares well with the best in NYC and the West cost. We shall return again.
This was my third time at Taki- the first two times everything was great this last time, TERRIBLE. There was zero variety to any of the fish literally everything was plain Nigiri. It was so repetitive you were completely over it after the first five rolls. In the past, and most other Omakases have different types of subtle toppings to the fish to give it a variety of flavor (truffle, caviar, special salts). This one had NOTHING, zero creativity. The fact that this was over $200 a person for what we received is beyond disgraceful. Even the dessert was a simple scoop of ice cream. In the past they served a unique dessert something like I had never had before. Our meal for three of us with ONLY water to drink was $762! I seriously could have DoorDashed a meal like this. There are 2 other Omakase experiences right in the area that are much better and more affordable (they also have a better ambiance and craft cocktails). We will not be coming back here and certainly will not recommend moving forward.

We've done a handful Omakase experiences and this was one of the better ones. Food and service excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to experience a true omakase experience.
If you are looking for a true omakase experience in south florida , equal to or better than the best in class in NYC or even Tokyo, this is the place!!! The fish and other offerings are varied and incredibly fresh. The presentation is fantastic and the creativity is top notch. This is NOT the place to go if you are a California roll lover or if you don't like a true Omakase experience in an authentic omakase setting. 18 courses of pure culinary perfection !!!
The staff here are beyond kind! They really went the extra mile for my birthday, giving us a private decorated room & even a birthday gift! We had chef Bill, who taught us so much about the art of sushi & all of the things that go into the fine dining of it. The food was very fresh & very flavorful. A beautiful, zen atmosphere. Great for a date night! Highly recommend.
