This place was recommended to us, so we decided to try it. We put our order in, and while we’re waiting, Frankie gave us complementary slices of Broccoli Rob pizza, which was delicious. We decided to get their sandwiches as they are famous for their big sandwiches. They came out promptly and hot.

I tried the Marco Polo sandwich which was really delicious for me. It had grilled chicken breast, apple slices, tomato lettuce, absolutely delicious! And come to Gorgonzola cheese, but I am lactose intolerant so he took off the cheese for me. The atmosphere was wonderful. I love all the memorabilia and pictures on the wall. They had the Godfather orchestra playing on the television it was very family orientated. I will definitely be back and I recommend to is to anyone who likes Italian cuisine. Frankie was a great guy very friendly and hospitable.

Came in after making a reservation the day prior, we came inside five minutes prior to our reservation and weren’t welcomed in. There was no one there to greet us and when someone showed up ten minutes later, she looked at us and didn’t say anything until we spoke to her asking where we could sit because we were dining in with a reservation. She said “you can sit here” and gestured to an empty table. Five minutes later we were asked to move because that table was reserved for another party. That was okay, no problem. Just a mishap or mistake and totally fine. We weren’t told what new table was ours until we asked the same girl that sat us down originally and she shrugged us off until we asked again. Finally we sat down and the table was sticky and smelled like bleach and cleaning products. I think the owner came around eventually and took our order. The food was just okay, just seemed like it was made from a jar or a box, and the service was absolutely terrible. One of the cooks in the back was the most helpful and even he was extremely busy which was understandable. There were two parties in the restaurant. A table of 17 people and then us two. They just prioritized the other table the entire time. We weren’t checked on at all and I had to finally flag the “server” down to give us the bill so we could get out of there as fast as we could. We were patient, considerate, and understanding. But the service was still absolutely horrendous. The food was mid, the bread was burnt with no hint of garlic in it. I wish I liked this place, I really do. I waited weeks to try it. It just never delivered in any way. 2/5 stars.

Note - ordered takeout so I can't honestly comment on atmosphere yet
That being said, the chicken parm I ordered was great. Perfectly cooked with a slight browning. Tasty, not too acidic sauce over nice al dente pasta.
Can't for the life of me remember the gent's name who took care of me but a friendly dude nonetheless. I'll def come back for an eat-in experience. The dining room is small and cozy, that I can comment on. Had a small Italian joint feel that you normally find up north.

If you're not eating here you're wasting your money and have abandoned your taste buds. Seriously, this is fantastic food. The dining room is simple. Who cares. Did you come for the dining room or the food?!

Penna with broccoli rabe and sausage was the best I've had anywhere. The garlic bread was fantastic. I'm not just saying this.....it's really really good.

I'm coming back. I'll see you there.

We are not from the area and stumbled upon this restaurant. What a gem! The food was fabulous and the service was top notch. We were treated like family! The next time we find ourselves in town, we will definitely stop back! We love eating local!
