Very good overall experience for New Year's Eve, the food was excellent, not too busy with a very comfortable atmosphere. Service was fantastic with extremely friendly staff, perfect for a low key evening without the craziness of New Year.
Tap 42 was good variety selections not stingy with food. Only issue is music volume. Too loud. There should be sound balance , bathroom should not be blairing, dining area a little less so you can have conversation with out yelling or repeating. If your a night club it was always done in stages. Earlier music is low and as it builds with patrons you increase. Maybe even a pause. The you crank it up this is the signal it's time to dance.
We had such a wonderful experience here. We made a reservation to celebrate our 5-year-old and didn't realize there was a big event happening in the area. More family ended up joining us, and even though our group got bigger, the hostesses were so kind and accommodating.
