Owner tried to claim defamation on my prior review so I am revising my review. The food like I said previously was terrible I tried the burgers 2x and they were extremely dry and tasteless had zero flavor. I also had their fried fish and fries and it was soggy and flavorless. As you stated in your reply My mother was employed there so ofc I didn’t have to come into the store to try the food duhhhh??. Your employees talk bad about you that’s how I know what I know. In my most humble opinion based on my interactions with you. You seem like a racist inhumane restaurant owner. My mother informed you of a family emergency so she was sending me to pick up her check which you knew about. When I got to the restaurant you told your employees to tell me and I quote “ the owner went to the store and She doesn’t know when you will be back” I was later informed that you were in the restaurant with a red shirt and you had you hair down so I didn’t recognize you. When I asked you aren’t you the owner you at first tried to act stupid than admitted to being the owner I turned to your employees and asked them why’d they lie she said and I quote “ that’s what she tells us to say to people when they ask” When I first walked into the store you seen me and had to recognize me immediately cause we’ve had previous interactions. So my question is we’re you not trying to give the paycheck? I’ve heard you have a problem with pay so valid question right. I turned to you after and said “ you used to be nice” “ I am not my mother and will report you” that’s what I said you than replied agreeing that you used to be nice. Your employee finally gave me my mothers paycheck. And I left. My review does have substance and is valid. The food is nasty and your racist. You can still be racist and an immigrant happens all the time and that is MY TRUTH. If I could give you zero stars I WOULD!!

As I approached this restaurant, I saw roaches and bugs near the front door of the place. When i notice that i knew right off the bat the place isn’t up kept. However its layout would make one dismiss. When i walk in i saw older african American getting treated horribly and it represented to me like we were back in the 1800’s. Bad customer service. VERY RACIST AND BELITTLING STAFF MEMBERS.

Bring back the Boca Diner!The Griddle is MEDIOCRE, the service is terrible and the food even worst.This “lady” Katy, our server was desperately trying to flirt with my husband all the time and treated me and my sisters in law like garbage!I asked for something and right when the food was ready -40 mins later- this lady came to say we don’t have whatever you asked for what else do you want? Pork? Then I ordered for something fast and she just literally choose for me! And of course was awful!! ?When finally the food arrives she took the audacity to bring us the check with the food! ??Please take time to know and train your ignorant and dishonest staff.

I very rarely post reviews, let alone negative ones ,yet I feel that I have to in this instance.I called to place an order for a take out to take back to my family for breakfast and I was told after I finished giving my order that I had to give them my credit card information over the phone before they even put the order in to be made .I informed the person that I would be paying cash when I get there and that I was loath to give such information to a single stranger over the phone ,especially when I would be paying cash.I was then told that's how they do business.I then informed the person that i had been in the restaurant business for many years in the past and that this is the first time i encountered such a demand .Needless to say ,i canceled the order and called another place where i had no problem.Of course this place won't ever get my business and I will inform everyone I know who visits around the Boca area to stay away from them as well

The service is typical Cafe service. The atmosphere is average. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Luckily, it came with hash browns. The only things I recognized on my order was the tortilla, eggs, and cheese. You can't use salsa and sour cream as a substitute for the other main ingredients. And whatever they use for refried beans needs to be updated or at least go to Walmart and buy a can. Don't go expecting to order a breakfast that takes some skill to put together. If you want eggs, toast, and bacon, I'm sure they do a great job. I might go back as I see they have liver and onions on the menu, which I love and don't see much of anymore. But that Huevos Rancheros mess will put me off for awhile.

Didn’t get to try the food.I went in yesterday to place a to go order. Stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes with waitresses looking me in my face but still walking pass me with no acknowledgment. Wasn’t an issue because I could see they were busy. A couple got behind me, to check out, the waitress comes over to the counter, never acknowledges me or lets me know she will be right with me, or tells me she wants to check them out first, just reaches pass me as if I’m not standing there, grabs the ticket from the lady and proceeds to check her out. I wait patiently. She then reached around the counter to grab the ticket of an older gentleman who had now joined the line to check out, again doesn’t acknowledge me standing there despite I was there before both those guest, proceeds to check him out. I never got to place an order, I never got acknowledged as a potential customer. I decided not to spend my money with the establishment after blatantly being ignored.I’m going to chuck it up to poor customer service although me being the only non white patron in the establishment at the time made me feel very singled out after this experience

Biscuits and gravy had zero flavor. Pancakes were very small. Side order of hash browns was smaller than a McDonald’s hashbrown. And the lady that rang me up gave me back $37 out of 100 which is what the meal cost not what the change was supposed to be and I gave her a $10 tip. I paid $75 for 2 person breakfast probably could have had someone cook it for me at home and better for that price. Never going back.
