The Hen and The Hog Restaurant in Boca

9/30/2025 Our first time here and it was fantastic! We arrived about 12:45pm on a Tuesday and it wasn’t busy. We pulled in and saw the meat smoker out back and thought this has to be good! We were right! We were happy they are very dog friendly, so we sat outside at one of the carved log wood tables in front of a fan. Even though it was hot outside, the fan breeze made it comfortable. The contemporary country atmosphere was inviting and cute. There is a bar inside and outside that you can sit at and the bathrooms are clean. I loved the barn does to them. If you want to see the kitchen working, you can walk up to the window and look inside. The menu had so many good sounding options it was hard to decide. All the dishes I saw that walked past us, all looked consistently delicious. My husband ordered the pig pen omelette and I ordered the smoked beef brisket skillet along with an iced coffee with almond milk. I really wanted to try the crème brûlée pancake but was too full after half of my skillet. So I will have to try that on our next visit. Hats off to the chef for the delicious food, nice proportions of ingredients and great portion size. Our waitresses Dana and Caity were both so friendly and attentive! They definitely made our dining experience more special.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. I got the shrimp and grits and it was phenomenal. Nancy was my waitress, she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The other two waitresses working, Kristen and Diana, were attentive and very sweet. I would say the staff is professional, very personable and really made the experience top tier. Would recommend based off food alone.

Had an exceptional yummy breakfast @ H&H, served up by our lovely server Angie. Angie recommended the brisket skillet and it was 100% on point and not to be missed. Definitely add it to your brunch spot list and enjoy!!

Our server Angie was super attentive and cordial. We ordered the hen and the hog and the smoked brisket platter. Both were phenomenal, the fries were perfectly crunchy and even their bowl of f berries and bananas was super fresh. The server let us know that the bbq sauce was home made. We are from out of state but we will definitely come back.

What's not to like? I love this place. Not only is the barbecue delicious, but the sweet -- like the waffles, are also out of this world. It's always crowded, but not an unpleasant wait. The people who work there are so nice. Our server , Dana, was so busy on this rainy Sunday, but never missed a beat, and her friendliness was a pleasure

A little bit of a long wait but well worth it! Noel took care of us and was super sweet , we were given the wrong food and she had them package it for us to go and brought out the correct one. My brisket melt was sweet , hot and juicy and i have never seen french fries like theirs which were amazing . My girlfriend and stepmom loved the pancakes as well as the mimosa

Barbie was very helpful and ensure that my group had an enjoyable experience at the Hog and the Hen. I definitely will be revisiting

Visited today for the first time with my family and we were taken care of by Ms. Noel. The food was absolutely amazing, very well seasoned and the temperature was great on the eggs and great serving sizes as well. Customer service on point!
