I went yesterday for happy hour and was pretty disappointed with the food. The Calamari was the worst I’ve had in South Florida and I’ve been to 50-100 restaurants since moving down here. The service was amazing and the location and parking are great.

A great bar if you are looking for something fun to do in a busy atmosphere. The bar staff and security are universally friendly, attentive and welcoming. For a bar that is predominantly an FAU student spot, the drink variety, menu, and variety of nightlife activities are on par with locations where the demographic is 10-20 years older.Drink prices are inexpensive for the Mizner Park area, and the menu prices are in line with similarly high quality gastropub food in the Boca Raton / Mizner Park area.Monday’s are my favorite night, with Aaron Newland of Fo’Sho Entertainment hosting karaoke from 9pm - 1am. The crowd is fun, supportive, and stage-fright-diminishingly off-key often enough that I would recommend it for anyone who has never tried karaoke up-through the total karaoke junkies like myself. I suggest arriving early to get in several songs before the crowd is all there and the waitlist is longer.Don’t let the fact that the place is packed by 10:30pm intimidate you, even if you are aggressively trying to get to the bathroom, and you are polite; even intoxicated 22 year olds will be accommodating. If you are over 30, that shouldn’t be any kind of negative attribution either. I am 40, and I am never the oldest person there. In fact, if you’re friendly and relaxed, you are likely to make friends with people who you could be the parents of!THE BARTENDERS WORK HARD TO MAKE SURE THAT EVEN WHEN THE PLACE IS PACKED, THEY ARE GETTING EVERYONE DRINKS FASTER THAN YOU WOULD THINK POSSIBLE. ***TIP THEM WELL - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE FAU DEMOGRAPHIC - YOU KNOW THAT COLLEGE KIDS ARE NOT TYPICALLY FUNDED WELL ENOUGH TO!P.S. From staff to the regulars, the bar has the highest concentration of attractive people in a single location, that isn’t a fashion week after party.Parking: Huge, free parking lot. Location is in a retail strip.

This was the worst happy hour I have been to. Upon arrival the hostess said all outside seating was reserved. When I pointed to an empty table she said it was broken. With a 30 minute wait for outside, we went inside. We waited 20 minutes and had to ask for a server. We ordered regular drinks, not happy hour drinks which were watered down. After 3 luke warm appetizers, we received a bill for $100.96. The waiter was gracious and apologetic so we left a 20% tip. This place was advertised as the best happy hour in Boca. I've been to many happy hours in Boca and this was the worst.

Not the best service and specially not the best burger. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Both my burger and my partners smelled bad and meat tasted spoiled. Told waitress that the burger was spoiled and he asked if it wasn’t the taste of goat cheese that I wasn’t used to it. After that I just asked for the check. After 15 min waiting for the check and manager had to go to the bar and ask for the check myself.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations. I was automatically pleased walking in when the hostess was super friendly and helpful to my husband and I. Becca was our server and she was also very sweet and quick. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and I would highly recommend giving this place a try! Also Jake was awesome as well very cute and professional!

The standards here must be really low.I came here for my birthday and I was expecting much more after reading many good reviews..The reason I decided to come here is because I saw on Tuesday at 7pm they have $6 Margaritas..&I like margaritas......when I get there around 7:40....the menu at the restaurant says they start at 8pm......so finally after a little wait...our waitress informed me after ordering one(&waiting like 10minutes) that they actually changed it to 9 pm now!...even though the menu still said 8pm....and online it says 7pm....& they would not even honor it..?? She asked if we wanted to wait til 9 but like, no... why would I want to wait another hour? super disappointing. Should have got up and left at that point.Mac and cheese was good but absolutely overpriced.I ordered the tenderloin tips..the french fries were good but cold. The tenderloin tips literally tasted like they were marinaded in ketchup, I actually almost cried because how bad it tasted and because I felt they completely ruined my bday dinner :( not once in my life have I asked for a dish to be sent back after tasting it, there's a first for everything. My husband going the philly cheesesteak and it was gross. Broccoli was cooked well though. The bartender is great though because I still did get margaritas at full price and they were delicious!! I realized that this place is a bar & not for food.

Honestly great food! Order a burger medium rare and they actually cook it that way. The regular bartender/owner (manager?) lady is always there and she is THE BEST. Great service and always so nice and helpful. They really do have the best happy hour in boca. This is always my regular stop when I pass through Boca.

Rude bartenders. Over priced food. Portions are small. Spent 35 dollars on one vodka club and a Caesar salad . left unsatisfied

Came on Friday for happy hour 6-9 PM. Not a huge selection of drinks but good enough. Had two margaritas and they were very good. Didn't have food but they had a good variety. Had some live music which was very nice. Calm vibe.

The Standard has a great happy hour. On Wednesday night the half price burgers which are very good attract a big crowd. Unfortunately due to the large number of orders being submitted concurrently, the kitchen, according to our waiter, was overwhelmed. We ordered onion soup and calamari as appetizers and burgers as our entree. We did not have a long wait for our food but instead of getting the appetizers first, all of our food was delivered at the same time. As a result the meal was not as enjoyable as it could have been because burgers got cold for those who ordered soup. I think our waiter could have done a better job controlling and monitoring order submissions.
