I just read that Toast is closed due to the death of Gus Halmoukos. So sad to hear this news...my sincerest condolences to his family and staff.

Ever since i found Toast restaurant last year, i've been a regular coming back 5 days a week for breakfast and lunch. This is a great local establishment, with speedy service, friendly staff, and fantastic food that will leave your mouth watering for more. I must say, with the pandemic going on, this is one of the cleanest restaurants around that i've been too and one i feel safe dining at. All the workers do their respective parts to adhere to the covid guidelines with wearing masks properly, social distancing, and constant cleaning. I highly recommend the "The Big H" burger, its always cooked to perfection with American cheese, bacon, and onion rings on top in between a savory kaiser roll with a side of hand cut fries.

Not sure what Sara was talking about. I'm a regular at Toast and not only love the food, but really like the staff. Especially the " lady in shorts". Since the pandemic began and the restaurant was allowed to open for dine- in, all the staff are wearing masks and seating is separated appropriately. As always, the food is fresh and fast. Great place for breakfast on the weekends or a business meeting during the week. I highly recommend Toast.

Toast definitely has more of a greasy spoon/diner feel to it. My group all tried different options and the overall sentiment was that it was just ok. The waitress recommended the Gyro plate and it was a little disappointing. The gyro meat slices were uniform and perfectly rounded on the edges; typically, you'd expect a mound of roughly shaved pressed lamb atop salad or rice. It tasted like a bratwurst from Publix.

These people are the rudest group I've ever met!!! I have been in all aspects of the business for years and have never dealt with such an evil group!! You do not deserve to survive this pandemic and I hope you don't!

This is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast. Their biscuits are enormous and fluffy and the food is always just right. They serve breakfast platters with chicken tenders or andouille sausage, which are delicious. Service is efficient and friendly. The only thing I would change is maybe remove a table or two because it gets really, really cramped in there. I really hope they make it through this Covid-19 craziness.

It was ok. The food was good but the waitress was rude. When we sat it seemed as if we were bothering her. The hostess was great. Super friendly. Again the food was ok. The Egg and You is right down the road and better all the way around. I dont think we will return to Toast unless we can get a better serve maybe.

This is a nice dessert place by Mizner Park. I have ordered the milk tea and Thai tea with boba before and I thought it was great. I love boba tea and didn't see anything wrong with the tea here. My favorite item would be the strawberry toast. It is absolutely amazing and so delicious! I had also had the banana toast but I prefer the strawberry. I have also tried different rolled ice creams and think those are great as well. I highly recommend this place for those wanting to try a new place for dessert.

I was staying in Boca and had had a late lunch. I knew I needed to eat something but not a meal. I Yelped vegan and The Tree Cafe came up. It literally was a 3 minute slow walk from my hotel (Hyatt Place). It is a cute little place that makes rolled ice cream. I went with a build your own - base flavor, 1 mix in, 3 toppings and 1 sauce. Almost all of the bases can be made vegan (coconut milk) except chocolate. I opted for the Vietnamese coffee with an Oreo mix in. The girl making my order mentioned the vegan based tend to freeze quickly and she was more sad than I was that some of the rolls weren't "perfect." So what...it tastes the same. I got a topping of bananas, strawberries, Oreo & vegan caramel. Yum to the yum! I did forget to check in before I paid, and there is a yelp check-in offer. All in all, it was delicious The service was wonderful and the place was super clean. Looking forward to returning.

What better way to toast the new year than dine at Toast? My non-Yelp friend asked for a brunch place, and funny enough, while I'd never been there, he'd already been twice that week, but was happy to return a third time. Sunday was busier than mid-week, but after putting names in, we got seated in less than 5 minutes. A one-page brunch menu, all standard diner fare, but from eyeing other brunchers, all done well. Friend got the feta/spinach omelette. My "special" order of over easy eggs, andouille sausage and home fries were spot-on. The biscuit, while big, was bit dry, so will stick with the rye toast option next time. (After all, the place is called .... ?) I heard lots of favorable reports later poolside from other friends' visits here, especially of the moussaka and lamb chops. This is classic Greek/diner eats, and Toast apparently does it very well. The hostess was a delight. Our server was a delight. The manager was, well, also there. There seemed to be a bit of a passive-aggressive interaction with some table/seating issues, but nothing too significant. I love a good food adventure, but familiar comfort is a comfort indeed. Toast, I toast you.

I ordered an omelet. It had no cheese. What more can I say. Everything was okay-ish, except for the service, which was bad. There was not enough coffee. But the omelet. It had no cheese. Evidently it is optional. When I ordered the omelet the waiter could have asked if I wanted cheese, but he didn't seem interested. So I was given an omelet with no cheese.

Stephane was a wonderful host for our breakfast at Toast! We enjoyed an array of meals and everyone was very happy with their order. I ordered the chicken and waffles and thought the chicken tenders were so deliciously seasoned! You can tell they are hand breaded. My waffle was perfectly cooked. The breakfast entrees cost between $8-$12!

Toast is a staple breakfast restaurant where you can sit in a booth, get lightening fast service, and your coffee cup is always filled with hot coffee. There are a lot of regulars here, at the counter and tables. I had the avocado toast which was seriously among the best I have had because it is loaded with perfectly ripe avocado and very fresh greens. They offer it with an egg on top but I got it without. It was simple and delicious!

Decided to meet up with some friends here on Sunday for lunch, and boy, was that a good decision. Started off with an order of Elvis Cakes which we all shared, and if you like pancakes, peanut butter and bananas, then this is a dish you gotta try. Ordered a gyro with fries and split that and a chicken Caesar wrap with my girlfriend. Both were delicious and the gyro was particularly excellent with the fries being crispy, just how I like them. Also, the coleslaw with the wrap was really good, just needed a dash of pepper, which I added. Would highly recommend Toast for the best diner experience in East Broward. Have had breakfast here as well and really enjoyed my food. Definitely check it out when you get a chance.
