Tom Sawyer's Restaurant

I went and had breakfast with my mom, aunt, grandma this morning. Our waitress was extremely personable and kind. Service was 10 out of 10 food was 100 out of 10 and the people were so nice and we had great conversations we were even able to celebrate a small win for our waitress today. 100/10 Would recommend!!

Only been for breakfast, but it's a good breakfast. I went with my typical 2 egg, tater, toast, meat breakfast and everything was great. Friends have had omelets and they praised them ever time. One friend got the BUCKET-O-BREAKFAST and it's a good thing he had a big appetite because it looks like it's a 2 quart saucepan that's effectively full of every breakfast food on the menu. He had a layer of biscuits and gravy on the bottom, potatoes, ham, sausage, bacon, cheese, and scrambled eggs. It's a ton of food and he said it's amazing.

I arrived at Tom Sawyer restaurant, located in the Boca Security Center & Locksmith Plaza, just off of Glades Rd. and NW 2nd Ave. Parking near the business was limited, so I had to park in the back. Looks are definitely deceiving. While the exterior resembles a typical business, the interior transports you to a wooded log cabin by the bayou. There are plenty of wooden booths and small tables covered in red checkered tablecloths. As soon as I was seated, a pleasant server came and took my drink and food order for a cup of hot latte flavored with French vanilla syrup, and a Western omelette served with my choice of home fries and junior pancakes.

The food was prepared quickly and arrived at the table promptly. Everything looked really good. The home fries was nicely fried in small pieces. The omelette was perfectly made with ham, onions, and green peppers. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and the latte was delicious, smooth, and full of flavor. The required condiments were available on the table. The restaurant also has various bakery items, but I was too full to try any.

As people constantly came in, whether solo, in pairs, or in a large group, the tables were filling up very fast, leading me to believe that this is a good place to come and get some good food. Tom Sawyer restaurant is open daily, serving both breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices. I look forward to visiting here again.

Ok. You have to know what you're getting yourself into. This is smallish, rustic restaurant with a huge variety b of American breakfasts, pastries, and light lunch menu is off the charts. I'm talking gigantic portions and huge, unique creations. The ambiance is rustic, old- style, and the service is right on point. If you're ready for a breakfast or even lunch with tremendous amounts of food at a reasonable price in a fun atmosphere, this is for you. But like I said, just know what you're getting yourself into

I recently visited Tom Sawyer’s Restaurant in Boca Raton, and it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, which makes it a nice spot for a laid-back meal with friends or family.

The menu had a good variety of options, and I found the food to be tasty and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the presentation was simple but appealing. I especially appreciated the friendly service—everyone was attentive and made sure we had what we needed without being intrusive.

One of my favorite breakfast places. I wish I could say I have tried everything on the menu, but nope. I get the same thing every time. My favorite breakfast is the French Tom Sawyer. The French Tom Sawyer comes with eggs, choice of sausage or bacon and croissant french toast. It's the croissant french toast that I love! I do glance at the other dishes being served and everything looks delicious! Coffee is good, I always end up drinking 2-3 cups.
Lunch is available. Breakfast/brunch on weekends are very busy so there is a bit of a wait depending on what time you arrive. Weekdays there is no wait. Parking can be tight depending on time you arrive, but there is parking in back of plaza. Staff is nice. Atmosphere is lovely with country feel. They just celebrated their 40th birthday in November of 2025. Great place for all ages. Delicious food! Highly recommend.

I've gone to Tom Sawyer's a few times now with my family and absolutely love it. The food makes feel like I'm back at home in New England. The portions are a great size, great tasting food, the staff is friendly, and the price is just right. I highly recommend them!

are american and speak perfect english

Went from being the best place in Boca to the worst place in Boca I’ll never go back again. The little guy working in the front needs to get fired. He’s horrible. He forgets food all the time and he never gets the orders right Who sends pancakes with no syrup?
