Trattoria Romana offers incredible food, with complimentary bread that's a meal in itself. The basil tomatoes & bread starter is wonderful. The menu is filled with excellent Italian food, making diners feel as if they are in New York or Boston. The lamb chops, veal Parmesan, and seafood pasta are all on offer. The tiramisu is the best in town. The dinner portions are excellent, and a chocolate cake slice is like three pieces of cake anywhere else. The restaurant is a great spot for a romantic evening, with top-notch service and delicious food. The service is known to be impeccable, with staff being incredibly accommodating and providing a customizable dining experience. Highly recommended. The veal is DELICIOUS, and the chicken parmigiana is also great. The short rib pasta was cold and the meat was very hard, but the bolognese was very saucy. You are treated like family, and the experience is amazing.

Guests have enjoyed this restaurant for years. Recently, some experienced a poor first impression due to a hostess making mocking gestures to staff and giving a cold look, which was uncharacteristic of the usual excellent service. However, the server was attentive and funny, and the food remained divine. Highlights included the meatball, special veal chop with eggplant, and hog snapper. Despite the initial reception, many still find the food consistently delicious. The swordfish Levornese was described as the best ever, and the little lobster tails oreganato as superb. The food continues to be a Boca classic, with dishes like hog snapper, short rib, pappardelle, and chicken parm. Diners often share plates and enjoy a memorable experience, making it one of their favorite restaurants in Boca.
