This place is a disorganized mess. We reserved a private room for a party. We got there a few minutes early to set up and they told us that there were still people at the table. There was nowhere to sit or wait. We had some elderly people in our party who could not sit anywhere. The waiters couldn't get through the crowds and everybody was pushing and shoving. It was absolutely awful. After 45 minutes and no table we had to go somewhere else. If you make a reservation, make sure to show up 45 minutes later and you might get a table.

We really loved this place. I called on a Saturday and booked 7pm on a Sunday. Free valet parking. Very welcoming hostesss. They seated us in the bar area while we waited for our table. Had a delicious martini. My dining partner had a glass of rosé. Bar waitress from Chicago very friendly & professional. Seated in main dining room. Great bread plate with sticks and focaccia. Marinated tomatoes were phenomenal. We ordered way too much food on purpose: charcuterie ( try the hot and sweet salamis as well as the Truffle flavored pecorino). Then we moved on to a Caesar salad and broccoli raab with sausage. Our main courses were pappardelle with short ribs and a grilled veal chop. Perfectly grilled medium rare as I ordered it. Finished off with a slice of magnificent strawberry shortcake, an espresso and digestivo. If you can get a reservation, go here. The couple dining next to us seemed incredulous that I was able to get a booking so apparently the place stays full all the time. Highly recommended. The place was packed with people having a grand old time engaged in conversation and enjoying the dining experience.

Hi, This was not the first time we dined there. It was uncomfortably crowded and the service had really changed. The waiter was overwhelmed and the servers couldn't remember anything. All in all disappointing . Food was ok. Veal was tough. I had asked if the pasta dish was in a marinara sauce which I couldn't eat and was told no. When it came it was swimming in sauce . That was the type of experience all through the meal.
This is a fabulous restaurant for great dining and any special occasions. Foods and service are consistently excellent. Best Italian style food in Boca!
Our waiter was amazing and the food and wine were delicious. Great night out. We just sat outside and so the cars driving by were quite loud.
Consistently great. Highly recommended. Will make your hair more shiny and manageable after finishing your delicious meal
Excellent food and service; superb! The outside noise level needs immediate attention. Boca Raton Police need to be involved with the auto racing down Palmetto Park.
It's like most people say. Overall amazing.Their meatballs are delicious, fantastic, outstanding. Pick either one of those words. It's a must try. Frutti di mare filled with seafood and also delicious. Service was excellent. Definitely a must place to eat. Considering the quality and quantity of the dishes I found the value to be excellent. Enjoy, you won't be disappointed.
The service was outstanding ,the presentation of the appetizers to dinner and of course dessert unbelievable. This is a favorite place to have dinner.I have another reservation for this month booked

Had a wonderful dinner at Trattorio Romano last night! The Veal Romano and the Cacio e Pepe pasta were both sensational! We ate on the later side so it was not as loud and our waiter, Tony, was a true professional! Will definitely be back!
Food was excellent. Our waitress was great. Very knowledgeable on the menu, including wine list. Would definitely go back, but not often, as we all thought it was overpriced.
As always our dinner was great from start to finish. Waiters always great in discussing and recommending food choices and ambience lovely. Everything was delicious.
We had a 5:30 p.m. reservation on Saturday night. The hostess seated us in a dark corner of the restaurant, cut off by two half-walls and near the kitchen. We asked to move to one of three empty tables for two in the main dining room, but were instead offered a spot in what's aptly called the alcove—surrounded by about six staff members standing around waiting for the dinner rush. Clearly, one of the worst table locations in the restaurant. It quickly became apparent that we weren't going to be offered one of the three open tables for two. The hostess, growing frustrated, explained that those tables had been specifically requested when the reservations were made—by table number. She said the restaurant honors table-specific reservations, even on a busy Saturday night, and since we hadn't reserved a table number, there was nothing she could do. What are the odds that three tables for two would all be reserved by number on a Saturday night? Even our waiter quietly acknowledged how absurd it was that no one was willing to let us move to another table.
Best italian food in Boca hands down!
