Stopped in for lunch today and ordered a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese as my side. Was asked if I would like sauce on the meat, original, sweet or spicy. I went for the spicy.Sandwich was prepared fresh right in front of my eyes and the meat and sauce were both delicious. Served on a Martins Potato Bun, which is a perfect match. Overall a great sandwich!!Would have gone with 5 stars but the mac and cheese was kinda disappointing. More lumpy than creamy, like the sauce broke.Great local BBQ, glad I tried it and will definitely be back.

The Brisket Sandwich that I received tasted awful. It was the first meal that I've purchased from Troys BBQ that I immediately threw into the trash. The macaroni and cheese was uneatable and that's saying alot for someone that loves macaroni and cheese. The first indication of a problem was when I found about 1 1/2 inches of a greasy liquid in the bottom of the plastic bag. The liquid did not appear to come from any containers. The Brisket Sandwich happened to be the one on the bottom. The other 2 meals appeared to be fine. When I called the location to complain the manager effectively called me a liar and hung on me. Some customer service. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ANY BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCT.

I love the ribs, and the smoked ckicken. Also, wednesday they have great wings and thursday is beef ribs! I saw that some people gave negative reviews because the brisket is too fatty, they are very accommodating if you want it cut a certain way just ask them.

I hesitated with this review but it seems some people are not taking any pride it what they do or even having a job at this point. Owner must not be present. They take no pride from cutting the meat with huge chunks of fat almost having NO meat, slapping it on your plate and forgetting items to be served with the meal. Oh and having to ask for utensils and napkins since they also forgot that. Owner should know employees were either on their cell phones and chatting with one another so the customer service suffered. The food wasn't what i hoped for either. We are always looking for a great BBQ spot and this one really was forgettable.

We've been customers for years but hadn't been to Troy's for awhile because of Covid. Picked up a dinner order for four yesterday and we were extremely disappointed. Pulled pork dinner sat in 1/2 inch of clear fluid and was so salty that it was not edible. Of course the corn bread in the same container had absorbed that fluid and was also not edible. One half barbecue chicken dinner was no dark meat and so dry we think it had to have been cooked the day before. Ribs were tough. These were all extremely disappointing meals. What happened to Troy's we used to know? We will not be back. Too bad.

Effing amazing. It was the smell of smoke as I drove down the highway that had my mouth watering. I got chicken and ribs that were unbelievable. The meat did not even need sauce. I got rice with it that was so stinking good you could've made a meal out of that alone. If you haven't tried Troy's yet you're punishing yourself. Stop punishing yourself!

I moved from Ohio and my family owns a smoked bbq place and it reminds me of home. thank you so much!!! just a thought. maybe you could do fresh fried pork rinds with powder spices!
What a Dump! I mean that with Love! Very authentic and a bit rundown.... Everything is good except the RIBS! very chewy Not "fall of the bone" They need a few more hours in the smoker!

If you want great BBQ, this is the place! As we walked outside towards the restaurant, we saw the chef at the huge smoker and he welcomed us with open arms. He suggested their famous brisket and to also order the ribs. Walking into the restaurant, we didn't get a warm welcome; just some stares from staff behind the counter. The decor of this place is pretty rundown, inside and outside. So if you're looking for a nice upscale restaurant, this is definitely not it. We sat at one of the few tables outside and our far-too-casual server took our order. We went with the brisket, ribs, and coleslaw. He asked us which of the 4 BBQ sauces we wanted on the side, which was hard to answer, as we never knew what they tasted like. They should just put the sauce in squeeze bottles and let you try a little of all of them; we went with the Original, Smokey, and Spicy. The plates came out within 15 minutes and they looked delicious. The meaty ribs had some nice bark on them, and were pretty tender. Unfortunately, because they weren't baby back ribs, they had tiny white bones beside the bigger bones, making they a bit difficult to eat. The taste however was just excellent. The brisket was the star of the show, very juicy, perfect smoked flavor, and some pieces with salty bark on them. The coleslaw, and each one of the BBQ sauces, were far too sweet, so we barely touched them as they all tasted like they were loaded with sugar. As we left the place, the chef at the smoker wished us well, and we thanked him for the excellent brisket and rib suggestions. He certainly knows how to cook BBQ!

I've tried their location in Boynton which was delicious. I know certain locations of businesses could pale in comparison to others so I did not know what to expect. This definitely had the same excellent quality as the other location. Outstanding bbq. A young girl took my order at the counter. She was friendly. I ordered to go, it took about 15 minutes to get my food. Inside and outside seating options were available. The cook was making the food fresh outside in the bbq pit. I ordered: Pulled pork with both flavor bbq sauces on the side and a side of Mac and cheese. The sandwich was incredible, the pork was seasoned to perfection and so soft. I love the subtle charcoal taste. The sauces are not necessary at all but they compliment the sandwich nicely. 10/10 I remember feeling like their sides were a bit hit or miss so I played it safe with their Mac and cheese which is good. They could use perhaps a spicy kick or bread crumbs but they're way better than most other places. I used a little bit of bbq on them and they actually paired well together in my opinion. I am so glad I found this location as it's much closer to me than Boynton. I will be telling others about this place. It is awesome and definitely worth a visit.
