I've been coming here for years and absolutely feel like family. If you aren't pleased with this restaurant simple communication with Frank or Gabe solves any issue. Any negative review here is from folks who can't be pleased no matter what the team does... Do yourself a favor and check out Villa Rosano and you'll see what NY Italian food is all about and you'll have a bag to go home with.

We arrived on time for our reservation and was told it would be 15-20 min wait. After 25 min we still had no table and no apology from hostess or manager who avoided the hostess stand. After complaining about the wait the hostess rudely told me to go find the manager in the restaurant to complain but even worse she said the owner said they never turn away people so that’s why we didn’t have a table because they gave it to someone else who showed up as a walk in or double booked reservation times. Rude and terrible service and I never even got to a table. We left after 30 min and as we did the hostess screamed have a good night sarcastically. I have never been treated like that anywhere. Avoid this place!!!

The food here is really very good. And - considering quality - it is fairly priced. The restaurant itself is QUITE noisy, and not the best environment as it is extremely crowded. I think coming here you won’t be disappointed in your food at all and the wait staff is great! If you are hard of hearing prepare to yell.Wheelchair accessibility: No ramp for wheelchair access but small enough curb to have someone help out and lift over the curb. We were able to sit a wheelchair at our table.

Gabe the manager after 3 years of going here told the waitress to charge me $30 tip when she was arrogant and impolite the entire night. We tipped the bartender cash and the waitress $20.00. Apparently that’s not enough so they decided to charge whatever they wanted. If my Amex does support me then a simple small claims lawsuit will. Let’s get ready for the truth to come out. Pretentious restaurant manager, the owner Frank is much better at customer service than this so called manager Gabe.

Beware dining on a Saturday night - Overbooked and LOUD.Booked a 7pm reservation on a busy Saturday night. Arrived at 6:50pm. Was told wait was 10-15 minutes. Thirty minutes later no table. Volunteered to sit outside to help them out. They said they would send a waiter right away. 15 minutes later no server.We left.This place overbooks their restaurant and on top of that it's so noisy inside you can barely hear your partner speak.Never going back. Suggest you avoid this place.

First time visiting Villa Rosano for my husband's 60th birthday. We arrived just before our 7:00pm reservations. At first we were showed the 3 tables we'd be sitting at and then Villa Rosano decided to give our table to other people and instead have us wait for a smaller round table. At 7:20pm they showed us to our table, 11 chairs circling an 8 top. There would be virtually no way to pull your chair to the table; we'd be eating with plates on our laps if we chose to stay at that table.The manager of the restaurant reluctantly came out to help us.He was rude & impatient when we requested to sit somewhere else. We pushed to sit at a 2 four tops pushed together as we wait for the 3rd four top to become available.It boggles the mind why any business, let alone a restaurant, would treat new customers to this kind of service. Our waiter was a nice guy, but his kindness did not overcome the nasty experience we encountered.On a side note, the owner of the restaurant was there the entire evening. At no point did any person in management or otherwise stop over once we were seated to check in on us, or for that matter, apologize for any inconvenience. Acknowledging a mistake was made, from my perspective, certainly would have made the evening a small bit better. As it was, taking out 11 people to dinner to celebrate, did not feel very celebratory in the least.

Delicious food, always. Loved the fillet of sole francese and my husband's chicken picatta was delicious as well. The best surprise of the night was the pea soup. Best I ever had. Looking forward to another meal!

Had dinner here the other night with friends. Very pleasant service by Sacha at our table. We ordered as starter a salad with was very good as nice fresh and lughtly seasoned. Enjoyable. Then we ordered a roma pizza, which was lukewarm and neither impressive in taste and ingedients. Also other ordered an eggplant this, which they were not impressed with.We finished off with desserts, which were great. I had a delicious tiramisu while the others took their tatufo, which was also great.Overall, it was a nice place to go to with great service and a lifely environment.

If I could I’d give No stars for this place. The owner and hostesses were very rude. We had a party of 10 which we had made a reservation for earlier in the day by going in and making it, not calling on the phone. They only had a reservation for 3 and demanded on us pointing out who the reservation was made with and asking some of his employees who took it, one guy said he took it but it was only for 3 (another family member was actually in the phone when his father was making the Reservation and he heard him say 10). The owner believed his employee and actually even put his had in our faces and talked over us not allowing anyone to speak. He then said he would make it happen and that we should be glad they are not in peak season. We obviously left because who wants to sit at a place where they treat their customers horribly! As we left the owner and his staff laughed. They dont’t seem to have any respect for the elderly or Veterans because our father is almost 90 and a Veteran (wearing a hat, on Veterans Day) and he was the one being treated with the most disrespect!

The best. Fresh delicious. The ingredients in the dishes taste lovingly chosen. The staff and owner Frank are almost always on site to keep the love and integrity of real Italian dishes.
