The Sushi Bomb was supposed to have red snapper, tuna, avocado, scallions. Needed a microscope to see the scrappy pieces. $18, worth $3. Salmon skin handroll, virtually no skins. Never coming back.

This place takes over as my new favorite Sushi restaurant. The Volcano roll was better, the Thai Tea was not watered down, and the Tom Kah's chicken was cut nice and small. Great atmosphere too.

I loved this restaurant. I take all my visiting family and friends and my husband and I frequent it more than any other in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the food, service and spent many visits chatting with Brian the bartender. Now, the shocker. Was there last weekend, had a dish that not only looked delicious it was delicious. I ordered the same dish to go. The next day I opened the container to warm up and the chicken was not the same. Didn't look the same or taste the same and the broccoli was brown and wilted. Not fresh, bright green and crispy.

Very disappointed this was my go to sushi place always go here to eat sushi cause they have the best sushi ever and it’s the only place that I really trusted but yesterday I had ordered the special fried rice and me and my sister got severe food poisoning the day after eating that food And we feel so completely sick After we ate this food, I’m never coming back here again. They are not sanitary whatsoever Anymore. They are giving out old rice that is making people sick My stomach is already sensitive as it is, and the food absolutely destroyed me Very disappointing I’m never eating their rice there again or their sushi do better you’re making loyal customers sick never coming back again no respect for people’s health whatsoever.

I have been going to zen sushi for a while now and never had any issues, but today my server made me pay first!! Is this normal at zen sushi? Even worse the sushi was cold and soggy and it came out immediately which implies that it had been refrigerated. If I wanted refrigerated sushi I wouldn’t have paid the hefty price of so called “high quality sushi”. This is very disappointing and DEFINITELY my last time here
